(4 Customer Reviews)
"You know I never was no choirboy" is the unapologetic statement that both understates and defines C-Bo's aesthetic on TIL MY CASKET DROPS. The album is straight-ahead gangsta rap, West Coast Style. C-Bo is so enveloped in and obsessed with the built-in mythology of the gangsta lifestyle that his depiction of it is utterly convincing and immediately arresting. There's very little subtlety at work here; C-Bo's rapping style is full-on, unrelenting and urgent. On every track he sounds like he's anxious to get his message across before he's silenced forever by someone lurking around the next corner. TIL MY CASKET DROPS is an authentic-sounding slice of gangsta life: claustrophobic, frenetic and full of violent energy.

C-Bo Til My Casket Drops Songs Til My Casket Drops Music Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) WESTCOAST HEAT I THINK IS C-BO'S BEST ALBUM IF U LIKE HIM AND IF U LIKE WESTCOAST HARDCORE GANGSTA MUSIC BUY THIS ALBUM IF GOT OUTLAWZ AND MANY OTHER WESTCOAST "REAL" RAPPERS Submitted by EDDIEBLUEG (PROVIDENCE RI) Was This Review Helpful? bayarea classic C-Bo is definetly ,one of the Bay Area's biggest rappers and this albums proves it again. 17 tracks - all songs, no stupid interludes- almost all featuring great rappers such as Spice 1, E-40, Killa Tay, JT Tha Bigga Figga and many others. The productin is also very tight, by producers such as Mike Mosley, Ric Roc, JT The bigga Figga, Studio Ton and a few more. C-Bo releases a straight hardcore gangsta rap album. The OG from Sac Town dropped a bomb again although the law forbid him. Not only he didn't care he has a song which specificly shows that he isn't afraid of anything. Song no.2 "Deadly Game" is one of his best ever and it deals with him and the law and what he feeks about all that. One of the best albums from 98.

Best Album Ever!!! C-Bo went to work on this project and it got him sent to jail. The only rapper to be convicted because of his lyrics. Bo-Loc came out swinging at the Sacramento P.D. and (at the time )Gov. Pete Wilson on the infamous cut "Swing Batter" and with knockers like "Can We All Ball" "Bossalini & Major Pain" featuring Spice 1 you can't go wrong. The whole cd is slappin' and is an old school classic fa sho. This is his best album ever!!! Submitted by heavenlybodiesonly831 (Marina/Seaside, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Til My Casket Drops album
$13.15 Enter the Jacka. The death of 2Pac in the mid 90's ripped the heart out of West Coast Hip Hop. At the same time a young street poet named the Jacka was honing his skills in the Bay Area Rap game. Always open minded, he was influenced by b-boys and thugs, pimps and Imams. The Jacka has since developed into an established, well-rounded, well-versed emcee in the right place to bring the West Coast some serious attention. The Jacka's music is a reflection of his life. He witnessed the birth of the dope game and the drug war that followed, as the battle was waged in his community, on his block, and in his house. Memories of departed loved ones haunt his mind and soul. His release is to share his experiences through his music. Reality hurts. Rap is the Jacka's medicine. That and some purple. Jacka's success proves his mettle as an emcee. He has been featured on over 50 albums over the past six years. His contributions to the Mob Figaz self-entitled album resulted in over 100,000 units sold. His tour with Yukmouth (of the Luniz), C-Bo, the Mob Figaz, and Tech 9ne exposed him to nationwide notoriety. His first solo release (featuring Too $hort, Cormega, Christion, and Yukmouth) in 2002 sold over 30,000 units. Jacka sold these units himself, in the Bay Area ...
