I had a Jeep Grand Wagoneer with all of my stuff loaded in the back. I would play anywhere that would have me, and at the end of the evening I often found myself hours from home or hours from the next gig. I would drive until I got sleepy, then pull over and sleep on the backseat until I got too hot or cold, then I would drive some more. The Jeep had a great backseat.On one typical evening, I left Cedar Key about 1 A.M. on my way to Daphne, Alabama.
