| | Freddy vs. Jason DVDs (2003) Full Frame; Widescreen; Subtitled
Bulletproof review
$8.05 Veteran slashers Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees join forces in this combination sequel to the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and FRIDAY THE 13TH series. The film begins with a quick recap of both Freddy and Jason's "lives," underscoring their respective motivations to kill and their distinct weaknesses. Freddy (Robert Englund) explains that the present children of Elm St. (including Monica Keena, Jason Ritter, Katherine Isabelle, and Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child) have no memory of him, and if they don't know he exists, he can't enter their dreams to kill them. Ingeniously, he reaches out to Jason (Ken Kirzinger), the brutish death machine from Camp Crystal Lake, to go on an Elm Street killing spree, hoping a lot of gory murder will jog the town's memory.
Jason is up to the task, quickly dispensing with teenager after teenager in suburban homes, cornfields, medical labs and, of course, the forest. Freddy grows jealous over Jason's body count, and so must intervene, setting off a battle royale between the two highly adored slasher heroes across dreamworlds and realities. In another post-modern twist, a character seemingly modeled after Jay from Kevin Smith's films appears in the movie, adding both a comedic element and another level of reality vs. fiction. FREDDY VS. JASON employs a variety of special effects to ...

Bulletproof DVD
$14.35 Los Temerarios present a follow-up to their "Tributo al Amor," an album that has been on the Top Latin Charts for over 40 weeks. This is a CD/DVD combination pack in a jewel pack. The DVD features 3 "live" videos of popular tracks, along with a music video "Que de Raro Tiene" from their latest album to date. Additionally, the DVD icnludes an EPK interview, biography and photo gallery. The CD showcases some of the band's timeless hits and several new versions of popular rancheras.
Los Temerarios continue their successful formula of smoothly palatable, romantic songs with the lush soundscapes of 2004's REGALO DE AMOR, a sumptuous collection of seductive material. There's an additional bonus in the appearance of Spanish heartthrob Julio Iglesias, who lends his tremulous, irresistible vocals to the mariachi-flavored "Esos Amores." The group's trademark sound of whispered vocals on a featherbed-soft musical foundation carries the listener on a journey through the achingly heartfelt "Mi Vida Eres Tu," the pop overtones of "Dicen Que La Distancia," and the swaying cumbia rhythms of "En La Madrugada Se Fue," the latter song proving that Los Temerarios can still offer up an alluring dance track when the mood strikes them. An appealing ...

$9.69 Legendary showman Cecil B. DeMille directed this lavish historical drama about the conflict between Native Americans and colonists in the pre-Revolutionary War American wilderness. However, Martin Garth (Howard Da Silva), a treacherous supplier of illegal arms to the Indians, has other plans for Abby and manages to rebuy her with the worst of intentions. Abby becomes an indentured servant for Garth, toiling bravely for her cruel owner. But Chris is not far from Abby and quickly realizes he has been double-crossed by the dangerous man.
