Live At Knebworth - Volumes 1-3 Movie Review Average Rating: (3.7 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews What'd you'd expect, but there's a synch issue, though... Those who were lucky enough to catch the MTV-broadcast of this great show will notice that the creators of this set took some liberties in sequencing this 3-volume set.
Nothing too annoying: just that the Phil Collins/Genesis sets are divided between vols. 1 and 3, and the great "Sunshine Of Your Love" in the Eric Clapton'/Mark Knopfler/Elton John super-jam is not at all included, most likely due to a publishing issue.
Paul McCartney's set is great! Too bad the John Lennon tribute couldn't've been added -- it wasn't broadcast in MTV's coverage, either.
The big warning: The audio and video are out of synch throughout Eric Clapton's set! Musically, it's still worth having; I've always wanted a Cd-quality recording of this particular performance of Clapton's "Tearing Us Apart."

After finally finding this disc...
The Live at Knebworth concert is excellent. It has been a long time since I've heard this. I have searched all over to find it.
I recorded this onto audio cassettes when it originally aired on MTV. I lost or gave the tapes away in 1994. This concert was one of the best.
The only problem with the DVD is there are many songs left out. Some of the songs I really wanted to hear again are not on here, and that is a shame. Ray Cooper does an outstanding percussion solo that is not on the DVD.
Tears for Fears, Bad Man's Song pretty much makes up for it though. This DVD is a must have for anyone who loves music. Submitted by a reviewer (Seattle, Wa.) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Great Concert but sad edition. This concert have the best from the best from UK, the performance are really good, the audience is very good, but why the production team divided the concert in a so awful way (?)I never going to understand that. I really think that the double CD from this concert is a better choice to buy. Submitted by Angel (Denver, Colorado.) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
