Queen - Greatest Video Hits 1 Queen - Greatest Video Hits 1 Movie Review Average Rating: (4.4 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Queen In Their Prime I was concerned that this collection would be overly creative, high-concept, artsy videos that had more to do with filmmaking than music. But most of these videos are of live performances. Freddie is amazing as is the rest of the band. "Don't Stop Me Now" is a high point. Even as a collection of live performances, it workis as well as any of the Queen concert DVDs I've seen. The price scared me off for a couple of years but I'm very glad I finally broke down and bought this one. Submitted by chefafischer (St Louis Mo USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Fantastic It was great seeing all of the original videos from Queen. Brought back alot of memories from when MTV first began. It's nice to have a video legacy of Freddie Mercury. This is a must buy. Submitted by dstern (Tulsa, OK) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Wow! Queen rocks. If you like Queen you have to have this video. Freddie Mercury had one of the best voices in rock music. Brian May is a phenomenal guitar player. Somebody to Love is one of the best songs ever written. Submitted by dmaysey (Tampa FL.,USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
A Must have for Queen fans incredible job on the picture, even better on the 5.1 remixes. xtra commentary is fun and informative. One small complaint... the extra disk should've been mixed in 5.1 as well. It sounds great, and I'm thrilled it was included, but if you put it in directly after the main disc, you can't help being disappointed with the inferior sound. What you always liked of the band and more For those who followed the band, this is a good reward for the memories, with some clips that I've never seen before. The sound and video are very acceptable. Submitted by migueleduardomoran (San Salvador, El Salvador) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$22.75 Very few Led Zeppelin performances were caught on camera during the band's life-span, but the footage that has been preserved for posterity is collected on this release. With a running time of over five-and-a-half hours, this is the definitive word on Zep's global stage-straddling performances. The footage is taken from London's Royal Albert Hall in January 1970, London's Earls Court in May 1975, Knebworth in August 1979, and Madison Square Garden in July 1973. Guitarist Jimmy Page has taken great care to restore, remix, and remaster the sound from these shows, providing a visual and sonic assault that offers ...
