A bear raised in a human environment, Beary (Haley Joel Osment), is a confused adolescent, despite his loving home. His sanctuary is in a disbanded musical act, the Country Bears, to whom he has a strong connection and is fanatical about. So it is no surprise when Beary runs away to find his real family that he winds up at Country Bear Hall, the landmark site of so many of those memorable Country Bear gigs, now little more than dust and kindling and just days from being demolished by greedy banker Reed Thimple (Christopher Walken). The few Bears who remain prepare to move away from their hall and their Kentucky bluegrass. That is, until Beary arrives, convincing them to hop in the old Hiber Nation tour bus and track down the other band members for a reunion concert in hopes of saving the historic venue. This search for the members of the influential group proves difficult with the Bears all in varying states of desperation and a pair of bumbling cops (Daryl Mitchell and Diedrich Bader) tracking them. Ultimately, the Country Bears and their biggest fan use this road trip to gain an understanding of the true meaning of family. Theatrical release: July 26, 2002

Co-helmed by WALL-E director Andrew Stanton, FINDING NEMO follows Marlin (voiced by Albert Brooks), an overprotective clown fish father, as he desperately searches the farthest reaches of the sea for his missing son Nemo. This characteristically spectacular Ross Hunter musical production, a parody of the films of the 1920s, stars Julie Andrews as the eager young Millie Dillmount. She arrives in New York City in the 1920s intent on a job as a secretary with a rich, handsome, eligible boss. Deciding to adopt the appearance of a flapper, she has her hair bobbed. At a women's hotel run by Mrs. Meers (Beatrice Lillie), who also runs a white slavery ring, she meets the beautiful, naive Miss Dorothy (Mary Tyler Moore). Millie does get a job with a handsome boss, Trevor Graydon (John Gavin), but he has eyes only for Miss Dorothy, and Millie is forced to make do with Jimmy Smith (James Fox), a paper-clip salesman. After they've returned to the hotel from attending a party at the Long Island estate of wealthy Muzzy van Hossmere (Carol Channing), Millie finds that Miss Dorothy has disappeared. When she and Jimmy detect the scent of opium in Mrs. Meers's room, they realize she has a sideline. The valiant Jimmy must go in drag to uncover the whereabouts of the white slavers' hideout. The cast and crew perform admirably in this light farce that is almost too sweet for its own good.
