Jellybean's Reggae Fever collects hits like Inner Circle's "Bad Boys," Ini Kamoze's "Here Comes the Hotstepper," and Shaggy's "Boombastic." An adequate collection of budget-priced reggae. ~ Heather Phares

Purchase Reggae Fever CD To buy, Click on price to add to cart | Kool Moe Dee How Ya Like Me Now CD (1987)
Reggae Fever album
$7.75 Kool Moe Dee resented the fact that in the mid- to late '80s, most of rap's founding fathers were enjoying little attention. But Dee himself was one of the few exceptions, and the old-school survivor had a major hit with his sophomore effort, How Ya Like Me Now. He would have done better to devote more time to storytelling and less time to boasting, but he definitely brings plenty of soul and spirit (as well as technique) to this material. Though not as strong as his first album, it definitely has its share of classics, including "Wild Wild West," a reflection on the nitty-gritty ...
| | Best Of Gucci Crew II CD (1994)
Reggae Fever CD music
$11.59 Perhaps more than any other strain of rap, bass music is a singles game, since very few groups and producers -- save for 2 Live Crew and DJ Magic Mike -- have been able to deliver albums that are solid from front to back. Gucci Crew exemplifies this notion, since they released plenty of studio albums with scattered highlights and plenty of fluff. That's why compilations like this one come in very handy -- The Best of Gucci ...

Reggae Fever songs
$11.99 Principally recorded at D.A.R.P. Studios, Atlanta, Georgia; Daddy's House Recording Studios, Unique Recording Studios and The Hit Factory, New York, New York.
Establishing themselves not only as new artists but as new songwriters, the four singers in 112 introduce their self-titled debut with a number of ballads and slowed-down grooves that focus on love and life. The smooth sound of their music blends perfectly with their four-part harmonies. With the support of Bad Boy Entertainment founder and producer Sean "Puffy" Combs, and occasional appearances by labelmates Faith Evans and The Notorious B.I.G., 112's songs sound like easy pop hits. "Only You" and "Come See Me" are aimed at the club scene, while "Call My Name" and "Can I Touch You" work best at home with the lights dimmed.
With a big push from industry mogul Puff Daddy (who helped out with writing and producing the album, in addition to putting it out on his Bad Boy label), 112's debut became a romantic soul hit upon its release in 1996. A quartet that specialize in close harmonies and a light, hip-hop-influenced urban contemporary sound, 112 bear more than a passing resemblance to Boyz II Men, but this detracted from neither their obvious talents nor their record sales.
The group's self-titled first effort is arguably its best. From the cover image of a dapper-looking foursome in white suits to the love-themed slow jams that fill the disc, ...

Reggae Fever CD music
$10.49 In this highly entertaining, beautifully photographed rekindling of the classic French novel by Alexandre Dumas, director Kevin Reynolds choreographs a fantastic adventure replete with breathtaking scenery, fiery swashbuckling battles, lavish costumes, and, above all else, sweet revenge. In 19th-century Marseille, Edmond Dantès (Jim Caviezel) is the optimistic but uneducated son of a sea captain. He cherishes his friendship with the son of a count, Mondego (Guy Pearce), and is deeply in love with his fiancée, Mercedes (Dagmara Dominczyk). Young Dantès is so innocent and naive that it is positively shocking when Mondego turns ...

Reggae Fever music CDs
$12.35 MORE is the soundtrack to the movie of the same name. The 1996 repackaging of MORE includes an expanded booklet with many rare photos, lyrics and revised front cover artwork.
In 1969, Pink Floyd was invited to compose a soundtrack for French filmmaker Barbet Schroeder. The result was MORE, a collection that doubled as Floyd's first full-length record following the departure of founding member Syd Barrett. Unlike most soundtracks where composers are content to write one continuous score, Floyd instead focused on creating actual songs to go along with a handful of instrumentals.
Roger Waters' compositions "Cirrus Minor" and "The Nile Song" are dominated by Richard Wright's funereal ...
