Bill Bixby stars with Valerie Perrine and Jose Perez in this razor-sharp comedy portraing God as an overworked steambath attendant, who doles out "wrath and "blessed events" in between assignments of scrubbing the floors and walls. A televised play involving God as portrayed by an irascible steambath attendant who performs miracles and wrath while scrubbing and handing out towels. Starring Bill Bixby (of INCREDIBLE HULK fame) and Valerie Perrine -- and Jose Perez as the tricky, wise-cracking God. Steambath Movie Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Steambath is HEAVEN Its been 31 years and I was elated to finally find this masterpiece. The production, writing and performance was that of Sainthood. I've told many friends for many years the greatness of this work. As a ten th grader I've mesmerized many from my memorization of many lines of dialogue and complex them with the lines of beauty that they themselves wanted to see this and now I can direct them to CDuniverse. Thank You so much. Steve Submitted by cscorpio77317 (Deerfield Beach, FL.) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
"Steam Bath" a Must See for Movie Buffs I saw "Steam Bath" on PBS in 1973. I was so impressed that I carried my small TV to work when the program was re-run, so my coworkers could see it.
When Bill Bixby died I called the TV station and asked if they would be showing "Steam Bath" again. I was told that there were no copies of the program.
What a wonderful surprise when I pulled up your Web site and saw "Steam Bath". I ordered it and last week I showed it to a friend and intend to show it to more people.
The film is just as good today as it was in 1973, In fact it now makes me think more deeply about life and what it is all about. Bill Bixby should have won an Emmy for his performance.
I hope to get a group of open minded people together (they must be open minded) get some wine and enjoy a lively discussion after the movie.
Thank you, thank you, thank you, for this movie.

Steambath doesn't disappoint I saw Steambath many years ago on television. I loved it when I saw it, and I have been trying for several years to find a copy. I was thrilled when I discovered it at CD Universe. When I started to watch it I wondered whether or not it would live up to my memory of it. If anything, it was even better than I remembered. The acting is superb, the story raises some thought-provoking existential questions, and it is all done with subtle(and not so subtle) humor. Very little, if anything, is predictable, and it provides far more than a simple evening of entertainment. I recommend it most highly. Steambath video
$5.19 Planet P Project, known originally as simply Planet P, is the studio brainchild of producer Peter Hauke, and an American expatriate living in Germany, Tony Carey, who had played for a while with Deep Purple. Carey wrote all of the songs and played various instruments on the band's 1983 debut album Planet P Project. The music is layered in synthesizers and has a decidedly dated feel to it, while Carey's lyrics tend toward bleak expressions of isolation. The album did spawn a modest radio hit in the thumping "Why Me?," which even made inroads at Top 40. Nothing too special going on here, although Carey does exhibit a good sense of melody on tracks like the propulsive, delusion-of-grandeur tale in "King for a Day" and the dreamy "I Won't Wake Up." ~ Tom Demalon

Steambath DVD
$15.75 This third season of the justly revered 1960s TV show gives viewers another fix of the moose and squirrel's offbeat and highly entertaining adventures. Full of hilariously awful puns, endearing animation, extended plot arcs, and genuinely witty wordplay, the gently anarchic show focuses on the lovable titular characters and their arch-nemeses, Boris and Natasha. But it also features an equally enjoyable parade of classic recurring segments ...

$15.29 This program follows the evacuees from New Orleans during 2005's Hurricane Katrina, but the storm began brewing long before it hit. New Orleans was named Murder Capital of the World in 1994, and continued to earn that name into the 2000s, with a war on the street that claimed hundreds of lives. When the gangsters, hustlers, and pimps that made New Orleans what it was hit the streets of Atlanta and Houston, what followed showed that some things never change.
In 1994 New Orleans was crowned "Murder Capital of the World." In 2001, the destruction of innercity projects began and tenants were forced to move into rivalry territory which resulted in a war that took the lives of 200 plus people. This war continued until hurricane Katrina came. The hurricane caused a manditory city-wide exacuation, which led most evacuees to Houston, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. The laws of life ...
