$14.30 Rush is no stranger to best-of compilation albums, they've released a slew of them. They are also no stranger to DVDs. To mark their 35th anniversary, they've released Working Men, which is both; it marks their first best-of live compilation exclusively from the DVD sets Rush in Rio (2003), R30 (2005), and Snakes & Arrows Live (2008). There is also an unreleased cut from R30 -- a killer version of One Little Victory. While fans may simply regard this as a record company cash grab, hardcore fans know how closely Rush monitors each release and controls all aspects of their career. On hearing these tracks without benefit of the visuals, it becomes lucidly clear that in the 21st century, Rush plays more like a hungry act looking to prove themselves rather than as seasoned veterans jaded by the entire business. The instrumental interaction ...

It's no secret that one of the most powerful weapons in Zappa's arsenal was his sense of humor, which was at its height in live performance. Consequently, there's no better way to get a feel for the full scope of ...

| | Jesus Lizard Liar CD (1992)
Purity CD music
$11.39 Imagine the musical equivalent of being scraped across the face with a broken bottle and liking it. Such is the Jesus Lizard's sound. The band's 1991 sophomore album is a study in how musical precision and unhinged aggression took punk to a new level, simultaneously ...
| | Enrique Iglesias Enrique CD (1999)
Purity music CDs
$11.55 "Be With You" was nominated for the 2001 Grammy Award for Best Dance Recording.
"Bailamos" was nominated for the 2000 Billboard Latin Music Award for Latin Pop Track Of The Year.
Enrique Iglesias does his illustrious family proud with the spirited, dance club-friendly ENRIQUE. Already having made a well-received resurfacing with "Bailamos" on the WILD WILD WEST soundtrack, this hunky singer has clearly grown up a bit and sounds better than ever on this fully bilingual production. And the Groove Brothers' contribution as producers makes for a winning combination of traditional organica, electronic pulsation, and pop allure.
Enrique lifts el ritmo on high on "Rhythm Divine," declaring the romantic power of the beat to the entrancing sounds of Spanish guitars and hazy electronic loops. "Could I Have This Kiss Forever" is another Iberian-tinged fantasy, only this one unfolds slowly as a rose with Whitney Houston bringing vocal honey to the duet. Part of what makes this Latino so appealing to non-Spanish speakers (besides his handsome mug) must be his groovy wrapping of memorable, simple Spanish phrases in English verses, along with the fact that he also offers three of the tunes in both languages.
Engineers include: Brad Gilderman, Ron Taylor, Dan Marnien.
Personnel: Enrique Iglesias (vocals); ...

| | John Sebastian Cheapo-Cheapo Productions Presents Real Live CD (1971)
Purity CD music
$10.45 This is a 1971solo live set by folk-rock singer-songwriter John Sebastian, featuring "Mobile Line" and "Lovin' You."
Like some other live albums, this one was released to provide an alternative to a bootleg. But in this case, the particular bootleg appeared to be a legitimate release. The early years of John Sebastian's solo career were bedeviled by a contract dispute involving his move from MGM records to Reprise records, and in the course of it, MGM obtained a tape of a Sebastian concert and released it without his consent under the title John Sebastian Live. That album was withdrawn, but Sebastian countered it with his own concert album, pointedly called Cheapo-Cheapo Productions Presents Real Live John Sebastian. Of course, both albums were a response to Sebastian's popularity as a solo concert attraction in ...
