The inspiration for the songs on this album comes frompast and present events that actually did accur in myown personal life. I grew up in The Virden Addition Community in Jackson MS in the early 70s. Most of thesesongs are a small reflection of my teen-aged past and othersare an attempt to deal with a few real life issues in ahumorous kind of way. Also, on some of the songs I get alittle help from up and coming Rapper Byron (Aka Black Goldie)Broomfield of the rap group Lyrical Legends betterknown as Mr. Black Goldie. On lead guitar is my goodfriend ,Brent Burleson who I call Bro. Brent. That whiteboy can play that guitar. I ain't lying.
