HOT This is a great CD.
TOO bad most people down south, will not get a chance to listen too it. It seems since Yukmouth and The Outlawz started dissing Master P (sorry a##), that these guys are band from stores and radio play in New Orleans.
Overall a great Cd. Fatal proves he is the third best outlaw behind Makaveli and Khadfi. Submitted by a reviewer (New Orleans, La) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | Lisa Marie Presley To Whom It May Concern CD (2003)
Fatal songs
$17.45 Bearing the brunt of being Elvis Presley's only child, Lisa Marie Presley wisely chose to sit back and experience life before emerging with her full-length debut album TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN. The results are surprisingly good, thanks to Presley's decision to sidestep becoming some prefabricated pop mannequin and instead take the creative reigns by penning all the lyrics, save the lament "The Road Between." Most of the record is steeped in dark imagery that goes well with her smoky phrasing and finds her serving up autobiographical tidbits like "Someone turned the lights out there in Memphis/That's where my family's buried and gone" from the mid-tempo rock of "Lights Out." A slow-burn vitriol that could be construed as being directed at former spouse Michael Jackson bubbles up throughout the simmering "Important," and will surely have amateur biographers cocking their ears. Lisa Marie avoids making this musical outing one solely steeped in bitterness by including "So Lovely," a sweet ode to her children that's laced with crying guitar and a snatch of the theme from the film MIDNIGHT COWBOY.
2003 debut top 10 US Album incldues the single 'Lights Out and Sinking', with 5 tracks co-written by Glen Ballard.
Recorded at Royaltone Studios, North Hollywood, California; Animas Studio, Hollywood, California; Capito Studios, Hollywood, California; Exactly Studios, Los Angeles, California.

| | Yukmouth Godzilla CD (2003)
Fatal album
$15.65 Yukmouth, sometimes known as Smoke-A-Lot, came to attention as one half of the talented rap duo the Luniz. While Luniz expertly cut their lyrics of raw sexuality and stark violence with a light-heartedness straight out of the Looney Tunes cartoons from which they derived their name, on his own, Yukmouth displays a more straightforward, darker side. On THUGGED OUT and THUG LORD, the titles said it all, Yukmouth is straight-up thug, proud of his West Coast, Rap-A-Lot hip-hop heritage.
On his third solo effort, GODZILLA, he tempers the mix just a bit, retaining the ample hooks which earned him ears from when he had "5 on it." Meanwhile, the lyrics benefit from a bit more subtlety and manage to hold on to an undercurrent as brutal as a radioactive monster randomly attacking your city. Yukmouth's verses boast a sharpness that transcend any genre, and just when you think he's fallen into formulaic, predictable rhyme, he'll spit a random line like "you fall off like Spin Doctors." While he can surely move the dance floor, he's no slouch at the slow jam, particularly when he brings in master Aaron Hall on "I Want Yo Body." With GODZILLA, Yukmouth comes into his own as an insightful, wry rapper who will never ignore his baller style.

| | United Ghettos Of America, Vol. 2 CD (2004)
Fatal CD music
$14.35 Minus some high-profile guest spots on other rappers' albums, Yukmouth has made little impression outside of rap's hardcore inner circle since his days with the Luniz. With the guest stars often overtaking the man and an overstuffed track list, United Ghettos of America, Vol. 2 isn't going to change that much, but the hardcore get a better album than usual and it's a shame some of these tracks won't even make it to radio. "We Just Wanna Thug" is bright electro with a great N.O.R.E. appearance, E-40 and Yuk nail it on "Kalifornia G'z," "I Love Dro" is a worthy smoking song, and the cinematic "American Me" is just about the most exciting moment Yukmouth has served up by his lonesome. Chalk it all up to the guest stars. Not that their raps are better; it's just that Yukmouth seems more inspired when he's bouncing his skills off others (been that way since the Luniz). Also of note is the presence of Mike Dean, the producer/engineer who has been behind a bunch of great rap albums from the South and Texas. He's mastered the whole album and given it a thumping, claustrophobic feel, right in line with the best underground crunk the South has to offer. Yukmouth may be West Coast but he's going South in a good way on United Ghettos of America, ...

| | DeBarge All This Love CD (1982)
Fatal songs
$23.75 ALL THIS LOVE is the 1982 by smooth R&B-pop family group DeBarge, featuring "I'll Never Fall In Love Again" and "I Like It."
The second album from the Grand Rapids, Michigan natives DeBarge featured three singles, the first of which ("Stop! Don't Tease Me") showcases El on lead; the song peaked at Number 46 after a short eight weeks. The follow-up was "I Like It," a very danceable yet laid-back number in which Randy carries the initial verse, and El brings up the rear. With impeccable penmanship and arrangement, it clocked in at Number Two on ...
