This thriller stars Billy Zabka, Dana Ashbrook, Simmone Jade MacKinnon. The independent republic of Chechnya is reeling from the Russian invasions. The war-torn land has suffered plenty, but now the Chechens face a foe more terrifying than the Russian troops. An American cargo plane carrying top secret experiments is shot down unleashing a genetically enhanced living weapon, a slithering python of enormous size. Making short work of a team of Russian scientists the gigantic snake is poised to destroy and devour the leftovers in Chechnya that the war didn't devastate.
This straight-to-video sequel to the 57-foot long snake's first screen appearance can be interpreted as having many political overtones. Whether viewing the film as an indictment of America's hand in global destruction or an antiwar statement or a cautionary tale about genetic engineering, those seeking deeper meaning in their horror and science fiction tales have ample material to work with here. The creepy creature effects also allow the film to function on a literal level for people who simply desire the need to be frightened by gigantic reptilian monsters.

Like his contemporaries Clay Walker and Kenny Chesney, Mark Wills has always been at his best on the weepers. GREATEST HITS wisely sticks to ballads and thus makes for a cohesive, consistent and enjoyable listen. The tunes are arranged chronologically, so it's easy to hear how Wills's sound has become increasingly pop-oriented. Though the production eventually becomes so slick there's little to remind one that this is a country album, Wills's extraordinarily sensitive vocals more than make up for the rather bland backing tracks. In addition to the chart toppers, GREATEST HITS includes two new tracks. "19 Something" is a laundry list of gen-x nostalgia items (Stretch Armstrong, parachute pants) and is seemingly designed for fans of That '70s Show, but Wills's sincere delivery renders it strangely affecting. "When You Think Of Me" is similar thematically to Glen Campbell's classic "Witchita Lineman," and nearly as heart wrenching. GREATEST HITS is an excellent collection in that it showcases Mark Wills's wonderful voice on uniformly excellent material ...
