Miffed at being denied his props by his contemporaries despite what, for a rapper, is a long career spanning most of the '90s (including a stint with Ice Cube and Mack 10), WC has here awarded himself a Heisman Memorial Trophy (usually awarded to football stars, most notoriously to O.J. Simpson) for achievements in rap. The fact that he's seen fit to award this trophy to himself shouldn't blind you to WC's qualities as a rapper--which are self-evident--it's just that recognition can sometimes be a long time coming. GHETTO HEISMAN is West Coast rap, lighter and more musically sophisticated than its Southern counterpart, though no less concerned with matters street, thuggy and druggy.
WC's old Westside Connection bandmates Ice Cube and Mack 10 make an appearance on the Funkadelic-influenced "Walk," while there's a hilarious skit ("Fake N***as") in the style of a gospel meeting, and "Tears of a Killa" shows the hard-scrabble flip side of thug life in the 'hood. GHETTO HEISMAN should, all things being equal, earn WC the genuine respect of both peers and public.

Its a good cd but doesnt have the flows that the shadiest one or the westside connections bow down has my 2 personal favorite songs on this cd are
So Hard - (featuring Scarface) and Walk (Westside Connection)the song with case I belive the title is flirt is garbage and doesnt need to be on the cd the skits are ok and have some humor but like most skits are not needed overall decent cd worth an addition to your collection but not a must have

Classic
this dub-c album is one of the better albums of 2002-2003,i know the critics dont like it as much as the dirt album "Tha Shadiest One" but F*** a critic dub did his thing on this piece u gotta here the soon to be classics: Walk, Da Get Together and evrythin with Butch cassidy gotta get this suport THA GHETTO HEISMAN!!!

west cost rappers and df jam have never been a good match def jam almost ruins wc's. the beats suck his rhymes suck everthing about this album sucks there is one stand out track "Somethin' 2 Live 4" but other than that this album sucks

good album here...
It's a good album... I'd like to have a few more tracks with just WC without guest appearances. Nevertheless I really liked that that track "Get Out".
