THIS IS A VERY GOOD MOVIE. ITS ABOUT A BASKETBALL STAR (DUANE MARTIN)TRYING TO GET OUT OF THE HOOD AND IN THE NBA.

| A real street basketball movie
Above the rim couldn't have a better cast with Tupac, Duane Martin and Leon. And lets not forget Marlon Wayans and Bernie Mac to bring the comedie in.

| Okay film (but where is the bonusmaterial)
Above the Rim film First off even though there was made like 2 musicvideos for this film in 94 NONE of them appear as a bonus, No Deleted scenes, No Bloopers, No Directors Commentary and not even a behind the scenes segment or Nothing... which is pretty weak I must say... Besides that the DVD holds good picture/Sound quality... The movie itself could have been better, its okay but never gripping, Marlon Wayans showed that he is a great dramatic actor as well though... As far as Tupac goes he's pretty good but not excellent as he was in GRIDLOCK'd and GANG RELATED (have yet to see Juice) and for those who didn't know, he does not have the lead that's Duane Martin and Leon, they are both okay but they could have gotten better actors then them though... It's better than "Poetic Justice" and the God Awful "Bullet" but not as good as the rest of the Pac movies... Check Out a movie called SNIPES instead, it stars NELLY but he's not in the lead so it's cool even if you don't like him... Or FRESH with Sam jackson.

If you are a tupac fan this movie is a must, he acts so bad in this flck, anybody who loves tupac pick this movie up. .
