Jaime Pressly, Nicholas Brendon, Nate Richert and Garrett Wang star. When a group of college co-eds show up for a wild island adventure, their annual treasure hunt turns into a weekend gone whack! They were just some college co-eds who wanted to collect as much underwear as possible. Now they'reat the mercy of a monstrous beast who stalks them as prey. The students originally arrive for an island adventure in celebration of Cinco de Mayo. The festivities take an evil turn when, during an underwear hunt, one pair of co-eds, handcuffed together in the spirit of team, smash a pinata and unleash the evil spirits contained within. Mirroring a popular television show of the day, the youthful brigade now must learn how to survive on the island or be summarily dismissed, only the ejections on this island are slightly more permanent and aren't subject to a vote. Jaime Pressly (NOT ANOTHER TEEN MOVIE) and Nicholas Brendon (TV's BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER) are among the partygoers in peril. Pinata: Survival Island Movie Review Average Rating: (2 out of 5 stars) Dumb fun The film is quite gruesome and works ok as a cheap monster movie. Problem is all the ladies keep their clothes on. If you make a low budget horror flick like this you should have as many of the women in it as naked as possible. Submitted by Dave (Stafford, VA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
worst movie ever made This movie was very poorly done, and my little cousin would have laughed at it. It was neither scarry or amusing, and it was a complete waste of my time. Submitted by athlte182 (Bolivar MO) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Average Horror Flick This movie isn't as bad as most people think. The special effects is clearly not that good- and its overusage is one of the few flaws of the movie. Other than the special effects it is quite a scary movie contrary to popular belief. Don't listen to what other people say- see this movie!
As for the characters concerned, I've never seen Jamie Pressly any better looking. Submitted by alexbhatia82 (Cincinnati, Ohio) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
cry myself to sleep well....jamie pressley was in the movie, the end, unfortunatly they didn't find that stupid pinata at the end, that way i could have watched the stupid video game look a like for only about 2 minutes and it wouldnt have killed some of them hotties too early,i eventually cried myself to sleep thinking of that 2 dollars i wasted.

$3.49 Roger Corman directs a couple of classic B-Movies in this double feature, including:
LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS: King of the B's, director Roger Corman shot this crazy beat-era classic in a mere two days, but it packs plenty of inspired lunacy and clever bits in its 70-minute running time. Jonathan Haze stars as clumsy assistant florist Seymour, who saves his job in Mr. Mushnik's skid-row flower shop when he brings in a unique man-eating plant. The problem is, it's a very hungry plant; every night it opens its huge jaws and demands to be fed, forcing poor Seymour to take to the street in search of victims, lest he disappoint his boss and his adoring girlfriend, Audrey (Jackie Joseph). From a zingy script by Charles Griffith, this hilarious black comedy overflows with great ideas and characters: Corman regular Dick Miller plays a hipster who eats flowers, and a very young Jack Nicholson takes a memorable turn as a masochistic dental patient. DRAGNET-style detective Joe Fink (Wally Campo) narrates as he slowly begins to track the killer down. This oft-revived favorite still generates plenty of laughs and chills, deserving of repeat viewings. A musical version debuted off-Broadway in 1982 and led to a film starring Rick Moranis and Steve Martin.
THE WASP WOMAN: This fun, intelligent cheapie from King of the B's Roger Corman ranks as the first feminist horror film. Susan Cabot stars as ...

$8.09 Daniel King (Chris John) is a struggling young artist enlivened at the prospect of returning to his hometown, where he has been invited by his old friend Natasha (Carol Kentish) to make use of a house she has recently acquired. Daniel enthusiastically accepts despite his fiancée Laura's (Lara Clancy) reservations; she accompanies him only reluctantly. Once they arrive, Daniel seeks out Natasha, leaving Laura to settle in alone, and she immediately takes note of a few oddities about their new abode. An odd, disturbing sequence of events ensues, including an old recurring dream that returns to haunt Daniel's sleep, the strangely frigid air of the house that is inconsistent with the season, and an encounter with a crazed local priest (Brian Blessed, ALEXANDER). When Daniel overhears a conversation about an ...
