"Pop Idol" star Gareth Gates presents WHAT MY HEART WANTS TO SAY, his debut album.
The UK Pop Idol TV star's debut full length. What My Heart Wants To Say Music What My Heart Wants To Say Music Review Average Rating: (5 out of 5 stars) Pop Sensation What my Heart Wants To Say is one of my favorite album. The ballads are so great, very emotional, uplifting and very real, especially with the song, What my Heart wants To Say, Tell Me One Time, Walk On By, That's When You Know and of course the ever famous remake of Unchained Melody. The catchy, pop - dance songs are so perfect, it made me feel like dancing. Gareth Gates should have win the first ever Pop Idol, this albums proves it. What My Heart Wants To Say CD music
$12.65 Will Young got his start on the British TV show POP IDOL (the original series that inspired AMERICAN IDOL).This is his second album, featuring a cover of Stephen Stills's "Love the one You're With."
The difficult second album is perhaps more difficult for a reality pop star than anyone else. It's almost a guarantee that no matter what the quality, any debut album from an artist who's had a captive audience of millions of viewers every Saturday night will sell by the bucketload. Even the long-forgotten Steve Brookstein and Journey South have had number one albums. But it's what you do after, without the constant mass exposure, that can determine career longevity. Pop Idol winner Will Young was lucky in the respect that his debut, From Now On, gave him a relatively strong platform to launch from. Not as rush-released as Popstars Hear'Say's first effort, and with the likes of Burt Bacharach and Cathy Dennis on board, it was a well-produced if sometimes unimaginative collection of songs that justified his position as one of Britain's most popular singers. But with a determination not to be pigeonholed by Simon Cowell, Young has made the brave decision to move away from pop's most ...

$7.05 The archaeological excavation at La Roque Castle in Castelgard, France, appears to be like any other dig. At least it does until archaeology student Kate (Frances O'Connor) and assistant professor Andre Marek (Gerard Butler) discover a note dated 1357 from their boss, Professor Edward Johnston (Billy Connolly), in a chamber that has been sealed since the mid-14th century. Knowing that Johnston ...

What My Heart Wants To Say CD music
$13.25 Even if this is a topnotch, swinging jazz recording with impeccable arrangements, lively playing, and a healthy spirit of improvisation, there's a sense of disappointment -- a promise made by the album title and cover that goes undelivered. Ghose explains all this in his liner notes, saying the source of the album is from the State of Bengal on the East Coast of India, but as the title suggests, there are no sitars, sarods, or tablas. The point must be that an Indian-born pianist can move to the Western Hemisphere and develop a jazz vocabulary as strong as any native. That said, there's plenty of percussive jazz to enjoy here. "Staccato" finds Ghose jumping over a hard-swinging bass and ...

$9.35 LIME REGAL Making Me Wonder EPMaking Me Wonder was recorded and engineered by Lime Regal at Rustbelt Studios in Royal Oak, Michigan. Steve Stetson, Lime Regal's drummer, works at the studio part-time and was able to bring the group in during off hours to record. 'We had some great times recording in the middle of the night,' Stetson said. 'Engineering and producing the album ourselves was difficult but rewarding. Knowing that everything heard on this EP is a direct result of the hard work we put in is a great feeling.'Making Me Wonder is a broad musical experience packed into a short six-song EP, giving the listener a chance to experience loud driving rock and roll anthems like 100 MPH, and soft jazz-inspired ballads like Four Leaf Clover. The title-track Making Me Wonder, the album's centerpiece, begins like an alt-rock electro-pop piece and quickly evolves into an explosively tight riff-driven rock song. Written about the group's hometown city of Detroit, it brings to light the positive aspects of the city and a desire to see it come back to life. 'My grandparents always would tell me about how beautiful the city used to be when they were growing up, and I want like so many others to see the city's vitality come back,' lead-singer Nathan Abramson said. The EP was released at The Magic Bag in Ferndale, Michigan. The performance was rocked out Friday, August 24th 2007 with The Marta Complex. Album Reviews / Press Lime Regal: Band of the Month- RIFF2 HD Radio, August 1, 2007"Many days after mastering the EP, and after working on several other projects, I was still singing the Lime Regal songs. This is a band that knows how to write a hook!"- Jim Kissling, TemperMill Studios, August 1, 2007"Since we last checked in with local rockin' up-and-comers Lime Regal, they've cleaned up their sound - just a little bit - and embraced their pop leanings (in a good way). Their new disc... finds the boys in top form, ready to be discovered by radio DJs and major label A&R people. Best to catch them now, because Lime Regal's big rock anthems were meant to fill stadiums, just as their softer pop pieces are surely destined for ...
