4 stars So Entertaining...And So Dumb
This movie has it all...monster trucks, Elvis bodyguards-turned-actors (Red West), wrestlers-turned-actors (Terry Funk), punk-rockers-turned-actors (John Doe), gratuitous nekkid Kelly Lynch (!), gratuitous shirtless tai chi, and Patrick Swayze's gratuitous mullet! Yeah, so the plot's dumber than a bag of hair; the fight scenes (choreographed by the amazing Benny "The Jet" Urquidez) are dazzling. The dialogue is as wooden as a truckload of MDF, but the unintentional laughs are a-plenty! The battle between Swayze and the bad guy's hired killer features one of the funniest put-downs I've ever heard (unfit for print here). Cool rockin' bar band music courtesy of Jeff Healy, who, playing against type, portrays a blind white Canadian blues guitarist.

This is alot like the old movie Walking Tall.It has the same settings and types of characters.Other than that,the movie is'nt bad.

DARKNESS FALLS, set in a remote town of the same name, begins with the foreboding dramatization of a local fairy tale.
