Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English A pair of yuppies set out to renovate their dream house only to be plagued by her ex-husband, an unscrupulous construction firm, and the house's crumbling structure. An updating of MR. BLANDINGS BUILDS HIS DREAM HOUSE in which an up-and-coming entertainment lawyer takes the big step with his girlfriend and purchases a fixer-upper for a "steal." As it turns out, the "steal" is really a "rip-off" and everything that can go wrong, does. Additional cast members: Billy Lombardo (as Benny), Mia Dillon (Marika), John van Dreelen (Carlos), and Douglass Watson (Walter Fielding Sr.).
