I ordered the Rock Discipline DVD threw CD universe it was a very easy experience.
This DVD is excellent John is an awesome player and he explains things really well.
John plays all the passages very slowly so you can see and understand what he is
Doing.
I have bought a few instructional Guitar Videos and this is by far the best.
This DVD is probably most suited to intermediate to advanced players. If you purchase this
DVD you will defiantly come away learning something along other DVDS where it is just some guy showing of for an hour and you don’t learn a thing.

I listened to this DVD with my son, who is learning to play the guitar. I am a professional musician and brass music instructor and I found all of the advice John Petrucci gives to be very accurate and easy to understand. Many of the concepts and methods he presents could be used to effectively teach any instrument. The lessons are clearly presented and my son has been able to use these methods to improve his technique very quickly and effectively. Well worth the price!!

Recorded live in Nyack, New York, the duo performed a mixed set of acoustic and electric (guitar only) compositions. Both players are world-class musicians, but Rudess in particular demonstrates his well-rounded skills, proving why he is an in-demand session player for the likes of David Bowie and Paul Winter.
