$7.45 A gangster named Harold (Anthony Carbone), his moll, Mary-Belle (Betsy Jones Moreland), and his lawyer, Martin (Robert Towne), are scuba diving in Puerto Rico when H-bombs wipe out the world. Since these three happened to be underwater at the time, they are the sole survivors and get to wander the empty streets and engage in lots of dialogue about humankind's future. Eventually the men fight over who will mate with Mary-Belle and rebuild civilization. Martin is afraid if she spawns with the thuggish Harold, the world will be repopulated with violent people doomed to a future of more bomb building. On Harold's side is the strong-survive theory of Darwinian natural selection. At least the three get to enjoy some crowd-free shopping before the inevitable showdown. This was the first filmed script by costar Towne (credited as Edward Wain), who would later become the highly respected writer of CHINATOWN and THE LAST DETAIL. Director Roger "King of the Bs" Corman filmed it while on vacation in Puerto Rico, where he also made CREATURE FROM THE HAUNTED SEA with the same cast ...

Bride Of The Gorilla video
$9.69 Based on the 1920 novel by D.H. Lawrence, the story is an exploration of the relationships, personalities, and philosophies of two men and two women in
the English high society of the early 20th century. Oliver Reed (Gerald Crich) is an industrialist who treats relationships proprietarily. The other gentleman, Alan Bates (Rupert Birkin), is a school inspector who attempts to define love between both opposite and same sex couples. Gudrun Brangwen (Glenda Jackson) is a socialite who uses amorous relationships to her own advantage, while her sister, Ursula (Jennie Linden), sees love as pure and simple, a permanent bond. The film is crafted with care and attention to the visual details of the period, and the screenplay has been lauded as one of the best literary adaptations to the big screen. Although Jackson's galvanizing performance is nearly overshadowed by a lurid nude wrestling scene between Bates and Reed, it won her an Academy Award in 1971.
A respectful literary adaptation that draws on Lawrence's other works as well, WOMEN IN LOVE ...

THE KARATE KID
When New Jersey native Daniel (Ralph Macchio) encounters bullies at his new high school in Southern California, he is saved by Mr. Miyagi (Noriyuki "Pat" Morita), a handyman who turns out to be a karate expert. Daniel begs to learn this ancient martial art, and soon Miyagi begins the boy's training, teaching Daniel that there is more to karate than fighting. Morita is a gem as the elderly father figure Miyagi, giving the character warmth, wisdom, and comic charm. 1984's THE KARATE KID inspired an entire generation to run out and join the nearest karate school while chanting "wax on, wax off."
THE KARATE KID II
Miyagi and Daniel return to training after a triumphant victory. But when bad news brings Miyagi home to the island of Okinawa, both he and Daniel embark on a journey that will challenge them mentally and physically. The emotionally charged adventures of Daniel and Miyagi are set against the beauty and honor of old world Japan, instilling a rich sense of history into their mastery and understanding of the ancient art of karate.
THE KARATE KID III
In the third installment, old villains return to get their revenge against Miyagi and Daniel. This rousing continuation of the adventures of Daniel and his teacher includes ...
