FEET OF CLAY: The Cartwrights take in Billy Allen (David Ladd) after his mother dies. His father, Vance (Logan Field), is in prison. Billy is lonely & Hoss conforts him. Vance breaks out of jail, robs a stagecoach & kills the driver. Hen then comes to the Ponderosa & turns Billy against Hoss. When Hoss kills Vance in self-defense, Billy is crushed.

BITTER WATER: Len Keith, a miner, wants to purchase land adjacent to the Ponderosa from rancher Andy McKaren. Andy's son, Tod, is anxious to sell; Keith has offered him a partnership & he is in love with Keith's daughter.
When Ben tells Andy that a mine would foul the water, Andy agrees not to sell. Keith plants tickinfested cattle in a Ponderosa herd to turn Andy against the Cartwrights.

THE SAVAGE: Adam discovers a white woman with the Shoshone Indians. I own this volum and was pleased with the quality. I hope we will see more of the origional series come out on DVD. I myself only want to collect the DVD's with the origional cast.
