Many of my friends were, and are, Yes fans. I tolerated listening to their albums. But I purchased this one. Why? Because it was their best album.

| Essential listening for any Prog Rock fan
I have searched all over the progressive rock universe to find an equal to Yes. There simply is no equal. Guitarists like me can find jaw dropping licks in Howe's country, jazz, and classically influenced styles.

It still stands the test of time sounds great and not dated with many classics. One of the best albums of the seventies.

| Remaster Does "The Yes Album" Good
This is a great cd to begin with, but the remastering makes it even better. The addition of the singles "Starship Trooper Life Seeker" and "Your Move" provide interesting insight into how Yes was trying to be packaged as a singles band.
