Diana Ross To Love Again Songs To Love Again Music Review Average Rating: (4.1 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Classic ballads When it comes to dramatic and beautiful ballads, no one does it better than Diana Ross. This expanded version of the 1981 album is a testimony to the musical legacy of a Diva Supreme. Not only do we get her best work with noted composer Michael Masser, but also hidden gems, such as Never Say I Don't Love You - a beautiful song from the 1978 Ross album - never before available on CD. Two previously unreleased recordings are also included, and although not brilliant songs, both songs shows that Diana always give 100% when in the studio. There is something for every listener here, from the devoted fans to the casual listener. This is the perfect album for romantic evenings, or for a lonely heart seeking comfort. Old cassettes to CD Had this original version on cassette, but it deteriorated. The expanded version is great. Went from 10 cuts to 20.......... Submitted by aiwanicki (DesPlaines, IL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Ross at Her Best If you are a Diana Ross fan, you will love the romantic songs as only she can sing them. Submitted by linda0217 (Pittsburugh, PA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Nostalgic and memorable The music is simply wonderful. I purchased the album years ago, but now that it's on CD the music has come to "life" again. It's so clear and vibrant! Further, there are so many more cuts on this CD than was on the original album. If you like beautiful, romantic and timeless music then this CD is a must have. It's About Time! Well, after wearing out my 33-1/3 album of "To Love Again", Motown has finally tapped into its vault and re-released a true gem on CD. And they rewarded us die-hard fans by adding extra tracks! This is pure Diana, doing ballads as only Diana can. A must for any fan. Submitted by a reviewer (Long Island, NY) Was This Review Helpful?
