 Disgrace
this DmC is a total disgrace to 1 and 3. you do more runing around then fighting or solving things,unlike the fast paced DmC3 and creative DmC1 and ooh Woop-di-DOo you can run up walls :D wow!its just bad

 Horrifying
This was one of the worst games ever. Game play was a load of crap, Dante wasn't as fun as Devil May Cry 1 or 3, and not enough things to do. You pretty much runn around, try to find what to do next to advance in the story line, and try to find ways to kill those super tough bosses. Although the bosses were the best part of this game. If you want my recomendation-choose Onimusha 3:Demon Seige.

 EXPLAINATION OF ALL OTHER REVIEWS
When Devil May Cry 1 came out it was the greatest game ever made. And still is. So making a sequel to it would have been difficult especially if us gamers expected it to be as good or better. So part 2 was made a little under par to get us lovers of the game to lose faith in DMC's quality level. But the game makers did that so that when they came out with Part 3, we would fall in love with the game all over again. Shotty thing to do, but it will no less, work. It was there way of lowering our expectation of how 3 would be. Think of it like this, 3 was made to actually be part 2, but they wanted to get more money so they squeezed in what we know as part 2, a not so good game, and waited till the right time, just as we gave up faith and thought our favorite game was done, they decided to go ahead and put part 3 (actually part 2) out on the market.

Dante is badass!!!!
Honestly, I thought a bit more story would've helped BUT the gameplay well made up for everything bad in this game. This second chapter proves that Dante is the #1 Demon hunter. Awesome game!
