Power to Believe album for sale Product Description
Power to Believe album for sale by King Crimson was released Mar 04, 2003 on the Sanctuary label. King Crimson guitarist/founder Robert Fripp's famous quote that "King Crimson is a way of doing things" has seldom seemed truer than on THE POWER TO BELIEVE. The group's second studio album as a quartet in the wake of old hands Tony Levin and Bill Bruford's departure fits fully into the ever-shifting but consistently regenerative Crimson continuum. "Level Five" and the multi-part title track are pounding, counterpoint-filled tunes that hark back to Crimson's oft-revisited touchstone "Larks Tongues in Aspic." Along the way, Fripp, Adrian Belew and company also manage to venture more fully than ever into the Balinese Gamelan sound they first began exploring on 1981's DISCIPLINE, and drummer Pat Mastelloto throws in some electronic flavors that nod to drum-and-bass and garage beats. ...See Full Description

| POWER TO BELIEVE "OH YES" JUST THE FACT THAT ROBERT FRIPP AND THE BOYS PUT ANOTHER STUDIO ALBUM OUT GIVES IT 4 STARS! I'M A HUGE FAN FROM THE EARLY STUFF UP TO NOW. HAPPY WITH WHAT YOU HAVE TO BE HAPPY WITH IS SARCASTIC GREATNESS. I LOVE IT! EYES WIDE OPEN ALSO GREAT. THERES SOME MUSIC ON HERE THAT MAKES YOU THINK. YOU HEARD IT BEFORE. BUT HEY IT'S KING CRIMSON! IF YOU LOVE PROGRESSIVE ROCK YOU HAVE TO ADD IT TO YOUR COLLECTION. By a reviewer (kv,mo. U.S.A>) |
| KEEPING UP WITH THE KIDS OF TODAY IS HARD. WHEN YOU HAVE BANDS LIKE SYSTEM OF A DOWN AND RADIO HEAD TO COMPETE WITH ITS TOUGH.UNLESS YOU ARE KING CRIMSON. THEY ARE TIMELESS.FOR A BAND WHO'S BEEN AROUND SINCE THE SIXIES THEY STILL SOUND FRESH AND PASSIONATE. I MISS BILL BRUFORD AND TONY LEVIN. BUT I LOVE THE SOUND OF CRIMSON ALWAYS. I GIVE IT 4 STARS. | Blasphemy!! That's what a friend of mine told me when I said this has become my favorite King Crimson album. Yes, even better than Red or Discipline. Dare I say Trey Gunn is every bit as good as Tony Levin? A very heavy disk that sounds similar to bands such as Tool, but still has some elements of Wetton-era Crimson. By Craig (Pennsylvania, USA) |
| The boys are back in town! Crimson strikes again. The sick imaginations of the members of the band are revealed totally in the album. Absolute classic! By petrucci (Sofia, Bulgaria) |
| Yes!! This albumn speaks for itself. Get It By Mike (Anchorage, AL) |
