||Evanescence "FALLEN" Still Rises|
I am an Evanescence fan, thanks in part to this albulm. Since discovering them, I have invested in most all of their work.

||Superb Debut Album|
I bought this album based on the songs on the Daredevil Album. My Immortal is just an incredible song. Bring me to Life is more indicative of the kind of music that this group is better known for, and the album has a great mixture of slow acoustic songs and hard rock music.
By a reviewer (Cork, Ireland)
I think this band rocks! I love the soft voice mixed with the HARD rock. i think it brings a beautiful balance to the music.

|Original Goth inspired rock.|
I liked every song on this CD. This group rocks. I wish they had a more widespread tour set up. They played a very small venue in Orlando and it sold out months ago :( Evanescence is in a level of cool all by themselves.

||Is so uplifting and upbeat to listen to|
Awesome one of a kind songs to really keep you going. I listen to it on the treadmill and i hate exercising.
By a reviewer (Woodstown NJ)
this album is great. mostly in a album there are one or two songs that are good, but this album every song is great.

||Great Band - Bad Shipping|
I heard Evanescence in the movie Daredevil and immediately went home and pre-ordered their cd. I even paid $15.99 for next day delivery, however the cd was released on the 4th ( got mine in a store on the 3rd ) and the one I had already paid for didnt arrive to my house until the 7th. DO NOT PAY FOR NEXT DAY AIR ... YOU WONT GET IT! I tried contacting UPS and all they had to say was that my cd had arrived on time and they had no idea what I was talking about... WHATEVER!!! I have no complaints with the cd, I think its one of the best I have heard lately.

||i loved it|
well the songs to me are like the are telling a story about something about to happen but other than that the lyrics really stuck on my head.
By sara_saavedra04 (Laredo, TX, USA)

||Excellent Debut CD.|
I had not heard anything by this group before and was sent a copy by a friend. While I loved this CD very much, I was a little disappointed by the "The Open Door".
By anthony.a.valdez (Rio Rancho, NM)
This is one of the best CD's I've heard. The music is very out of the ordinary - which I love!! Not the same old boring stuff.
By a reviewer (Granite City, IL, USA)
||I Cant get this CD out of my player|
I tried this CD on recommendation from a friend out of boredom with most current music. I was Blown Away. This is the best music Ive heard in years.
By a reviewer (Peoria, Az)
||Simply the best|
This group is simply the best in my book. The songs have a very nice touch to them and I listen to them almost everyday.
By a reviewer (San Jose, CA, USA)
hey, anyone who is thinking of buying this CD, GET IT! It's awesome and tempting to sing to even when you are around other people -x-meg-x-.
By punkadoodlemeg (Maryland, USA)
This is the best cd I've heard in a long time!
By a reviewer (Albany, NY, USA)
When I first heard the song "Bring me to Life" from the Daredevil Soundtrack, I was fairly impressed. I looked for some more songs from Evanescence and was even more impressed.

||Two Thumbs Up for EvanEscence!!|
This is one of the best CD's I'd purchase, it has a lot of great songs and for those like me who like to hear something different and like the music from linking park and groups like that! this is the ONE.
By a reviewer (Trujillo Alto, PR)
I've been waiting for a band like this for a while, adn the fact that the lead singer is a female makes it even better.
By a reviewer (Norfolk, VA, USA)
This first album is awesome! rocks! with sound of dark! Good Job!

||My fav band of all time!!!|
Evanescence is my all time favorite band ever. I first heard there song "Call Me When Your Sober" of The Open Door and fell in love with them.

||Very Good Album|
I do like this album, and its definitely very important as it introduced goth rock to the mainstream proper, but i prefer the open door.
By a reviewer (Plymouth, Devon, England)
||hauntingly beautiful (including Amy)|
i'm a big Heavy Metal fan, but when i heard Amy & Co., i was totally thrown out of this world by this Goth-inspired music into the darkest of the dark of the Metal World.

||amy is pure talent|
amy lee can sing and has a pure talent from the god above. every note she hits with perfection making chill bumps all over me.
By Ann (little rock, ar)
I LOOOOVE Amy's voice. This is by far the best album I've ever bought. There is not ONE song on this album that is bad.
By Hana (Grand Rapids, MI, USA)

I love this woman!! Her voice is so awesome and I love it. I could listen to this ALL the time!!!!!!!
By lacee (Tulsa, OK)
||One of the Greatest Bands...|
have any of you got minds? Evanescence is one of the greatest rock bands ever. Amy Lee inspired me to take up singing.
By Mistress Darkonitey (Somewhere where paper flowers grow...)
Everyone has their own tastes, it's okay not to like them though, what's the use of saying they suck? I bet most of the people who say they can't sing better than a duck -_- Anyway, I think Amy Lee has a beautiful and deep voice, the music also seems to bring us into another world? I love the lyrics of Tourniquet, Taking over me & My Last Breath.
By Syntia (Montreal)
It sounds a bit gothic and a bit death metal, but the best thing about this album is lead singer Amy Lee's voice.
By Manuel (Melbourne, Victoria, Australia)
||Don't listen to the 13 year old posers...|
You can easily recognize them, they rate the album a 1 and usually type in caps. They feel that because they listen to European metal bands like Nightwish, Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation they are superior and not allowed to like this album.
By Bas (The Netherlands)
||Amy Lee's voice is amazing!!!|
I love this group. Amy Lee has a voice that can give a person goosebumps. Which means, its amazing. The lyrics are good as well.
By Evelyn (Tampa, FL)
||I like it, lots.|
I like this album alot. Not because she's an inspiration to emo kids everywhere, or the fact that she's so popular -- She wasn't at one point, they were completely underground.
By Derrick (Buffalo, NY, USA)
||Linkin Park with a female vocal|
this is one of those albums where, once you get past tracks one and two ... it's downhill from there. it's a very dull record and majority of the songs have no personality, they all sound the same and are very forgetable.
By NovaAngel19 (Santa Barbara, CA, USA)
I'm a huge fan of Amy Lee I love her voice and rock style this album is great and if you want to take it a step further I recomend very highly to purchase the concert, I know I did and it rocks so much it hurts! and if that's not enough you get two songs that were nevered release to the U.S. which are (Farther Away & Missing) both awsome songs.
By Michael (Puerto Rico)
||gotta love it!|
i love this CD because you can sing with it and dance to it. all the songs have a great beat.
By Fallenfan (alex ky usa)
The cd Fallen is the best cd I have ever heard. I love Everybody's fool, and I can listen to it forever!! Evanescence has a great voice just like the cd.
By Crystal (A state in USA!)
I just heard of them and bought this album. And there is not a song i dont like on this album.
By Scotty (Ft.Lauderdale, FL)
||OVERATED MALLCORE CRAP!|
Sorry to say this but this sounds like linkin park trying to pick up a prostitute while the recording of meteora, amy lee is so boring, lacuna coil is WAY better.
By gothdoll (sunsine, AUS)
||EVANESCENCE ROCKS MY WORLD!!!|
amy lee has the AWESOMEST voice, it's addictive. I totally love the songs going under, everybody's fool, taking over me, and whisper.
By kr2flamingo (Kempton, PA, USA)
The songs on here are fantastic,I love her voice!
By Sarah (South Yorkshire UK)
Amy Lee's voice is intoxicating. Not a bad song on the album. If you have the chance to see them in concert...GO!
By slade (Florida)
There is not a song I don't like on this CD. When I first heard it, this CD blew ne away.
By Jim (Tennessee)
||THE BEST EVER!!!|
SHE ROCKS! I love her style. I usually don't care for rock/rap combo things, but when i heard her first song on the radio, I thought it was AWESOME! I made my mom go out and by this CD, but so far, it's the only one i have... *sniff, sniff*... anyways, if you like Lincoln Park you might like this.
By bob (Kae in CA,USA)
||Listen To Lacuna Coil Instead!|
I've had this album for a couple of years now and I used to like it but his album got me into bands like Lacuna Coil, Nightwish and Within Temptation.
By moshthrax (StAlbans, VIC, AUS)
Evanescence is a great band and all, but, like the people who don't like them, I do think this album is a bit overpublicized.
By Brielle (Jupiter, FL, USA)
thats all that needs to be said
By bigj_309 (Keighley, England)
First of all, to all those who say this is a copy, the band itself never said they make gothic music.
By Greg (Ostend, Belgium)

Audioslave CD (2002)
Fallen album for sale AUDIOSLAVE was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
"Like A Stone" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance.
A modern day super-group composed of ex-members of heavy rock titans Soundgarden and Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave was subject to some pretty high fan expectations. Luckily, the group delivers just what the doctor ordered: a seamless mix of the styles that made the individual members famous. Basically a stoner rock record par excellence, AUDIOSLAVE strips the genre down to its core, serving up one pile-driving riff after another with minimal, but perfectly placed, production flash. In any given song, the band repeats said riffs with even more bone-crushing attitude each time.
Just when the listener thinks his/her head will go numb from too much stud-rock low E-string twanging and Montrose-era Sammy Hagar-esque wailing, however, Audioslave wisely throws in a ballad. Sure, it's a proven rock formula, but these guys are professionals fully in control of the situation; AUDIOSLAVE bristles with a no-frills, offhand intensity that throws down and reminds those silly nu-metal poseurs what heavy rock is all about.

Meteora CD (2003)
Fallen CD music "Session" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance.
In one of the most highly anticipated follow-ups of recent years, Linkin Park maintains its position at the top of the nu-metal heap with METEORA. The band labored carefully over their craft; for instance, the writing process of leadoff single "Somewhere I Belong" spawned 30 finished choruses before vocalists Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington arrived at the version found on the album. The combination of Shinoda's raps and Bennington's sing/scream vocals makes for an altogether complementary approach, best evidenced in "Faint" and "Easier To Run."
The pressure felt by Linkin Park to meet a high standard with their sophomore release even finds it's way into the lyrics of "Nobody's Listening," where self-doubt and fear are almost all-consuming. Producer Don Gilmore (Apex Theory, Blind Tribe) mans the boards with a decisive lean towards acoustic drums. That is not to say by any means that Linkin Park's inventive use of samples and turntables is any less present or crucial to the group's now-signature sound.
2003 follow-up to the eight-times-platinum in the US debut, Hybrid Theory, promises to be one of the biggest albums of the year. Enhanced CD packaged in a digipak. WB.
Recorded at NRG Studios, North Hollywood, California.

|Anywhere But Home CDs (2004)
Fallen album for sale This package includes a full length live CD and a 2 hour DVD containing a full length 2004 European concert, music videos, behind the scenes footage of the making of the tour, and the band at play. Hamish Hamilton directs this spectacular 14 camera shoot. A surprise Easter egg is included! Included is a previously unreleased track. The package is available in Amaray or Jewel case packaging.
In 2003, Evanescence scored a surprise hit with FALLEN by combining an intensely heavy, nu-metal sound with old-school goth visual/lyrical elements, and the quasi-operatic vocals of lead singer Amy Lee. The CD/DVD set ANYWHERE BUT HOME documents the band's non-stop touring schedule with in-concert takes on nine of FALLEN's 10 songs. In addition, the release includes a soaring, piano-based cover of Korn's 2002 hit "Thoughtless," and "Missing," a newly recorded studio effort that features moody vocals, dance beats, and a glockenspiel! Most tracks stick fairly close to their studio counterparts, but benefit from the added bombast, drama, and crowd interaction that a live recording affords. Of course, as on Evanescence's debut, the main attraction is Lee's voice, which is in fine form here--the singer belts out every word to the wildly enthusiastic Paris, France crowd with a mix of alt-rock melancholy and hard-rock power.
Evanescence: Amy Lee (vocals); Terry Balsalmo, Johnny LeCompt (guitar); William Boyd (electric bass); Rocky Gray (drums).
