Superb Debut Album
I bought this album based on the songs on the Daredevil Album. My Immortal is just an incredible song. Bring me to Life is more indicative of the kind of music that this group is better known for, and the album has a great mixture of slow acoustic songs and hard rock music.

Original Goth inspired rock.
I liked every song on this CD. This group rocks. I wish they had a more widespread tour set up. They played a very small venue in Orlando and it sold out months ago :( Evanescence is in a level of cool all by themselves.

Great Band - Bad Shipping
I heard Evanescence in the movie Daredevil and immediately went home and pre-ordered their cd. I even paid $15.99 for next day delivery, however the cd was released on the 4th ( got mine in a store on the 3rd ) and the one I had already paid for didnt arrive to my house until the 7th. DO NOT PAY FOR NEXT DAY AIR ... YOU WONT GET IT! I tried contacting UPS and all they had to say was that my cd had arrived on time and they had no idea what I was talking about... WHATEVER!!! I have no complaints with the cd, I think its one of the best I have heard lately.

Beautiful
Everyone has their own tastes, it's okay not to like them though, what's the use of saying they suck? I bet most of the people who say they can't sing better than a duck -_- Anyway, I think Amy Lee has a beautiful and deep voice, the music also seems to bring us into another world? I love the lyrics of Tourniquet, Taking over me & My Last Breath.

Don't listen to the 13 year old posers...
You can easily recognize them, they rate the album a 1 and usually type in caps. They feel that because they listen to European metal bands like Nightwish, Lacuna Coil and Within Temptation they are superior and not allowed to like this album.

Linkin Park with a female vocal
this is one of those albums where, once you get past tracks one and two ... it's downhill from there. it's a very dull record and majority of the songs have no personality, they all sound the same and are very forgetable.

I'm a huge fan of Amy Lee I love her voice and rock style this album is great and if you want to take it a step further I recomend very highly to purchase the concert, I know I did and it rocks so much it hurts! and if that's not enough you get two songs that were nevered release to the U.S. which are (Farther Away & Missing) both awsome songs.

Fallen album for sale AUDIOSLAVE was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album. "Like A Stone" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Hard Rock Performance. A modern day super-group composed of ex-members of heavy rock titans Soundgarden and Rage Against The Machine, Audioslave was subject to some pretty high fan expectations. Luckily, the group delivers just what the doctor ordered: a seamless mix of the styles that made the individual members famous. Basically a stoner rock record par excellence, AUDIOSLAVE strips the genre down to its core, serving up one pile-driving riff after another with minimal, but perfectly placed, production flash. In any given song, the band repeats said riffs with even more bone-crushing attitude each time. Just when the listener thinks his/her head will go numb from too much stud-rock low E-string twanging and Montrose-era Sammy Hagar-esque wailing, however, Audioslave wisely throws in a ballad. Sure, it's a proven rock formula, but these guys are professionals fully in control of the situation; AUDIOSLAVE bristles with a no-frills, offhand intensity that throws down and reminds those silly nu-metal poseurs what heavy rock is all about. Fallen CD music "Session" was nominated for the 2004 Grammy Award for Best Rock Instrumental Performance. In one of the most highly anticipated follow-ups of recent years, Linkin Park maintains its position at the top of the nu-metal heap with METEORA. The band labored carefully over their craft; for instance, the writing process of leadoff single "Somewhere I Belong" spawned 30 finished choruses before vocalists Mike Shinoda and Chester Bennington arrived at the version found on the album. The combination of Shinoda's raps and Bennington's sing/scream vocals makes for an altogether complementary approach, best evidenced in "Faint" and "Easier To Run." The pressure felt by Linkin Park to meet a high standard with their sophomore release even finds it's way into the lyrics of "Nobody's Listening," where self-doubt and fear are almost all-consuming. Producer Don Gilmore (Apex Theory, Blind Tribe) mans the boards with a decisive lean towards acoustic drums. That is not to say by any means that Linkin Park's inventive use of samples and turntables is any less present or crucial to the group's now-signature sound. 2003 follow-up to the eight-times-platinum in the US debut, Hybrid Theory, promises to be one of the biggest albums of the year. Enhanced CD packaged in a digipak. WB. Recorded at NRG Studios, North Hollywood, California. Linkin Park: Mike Shinoda (vocals, emcee, samples); Chester Bennington (vocals); Brad Delson (guitar, background vocals); Phoenix (bass, background vocals); Rob Bourdon (drums, background vocals); Joseph Hahn (turntables, samples, background vocals). Personnel: Mike Shinoda (vocals, sampler); Chester Bennington (vocals); Brad Delson (guitar, background vocals); Mark Robertson , Joel Derouin, Sara Parkins, Michele Richards, Charlie Bisharat (violin); Evan Wilson, Bob Becker (viola); David Zasloff (shakuhachi); Rob Bourdon (drums, background vocals); Joseph Hahn (sampler, background vocals). Fallen album for sale This package includes a full length live CD and a 2 hour DVD containing a full length 2004 European concert, music videos, behind the scenes footage of the making of the tour, and the band at play. Hamish Hamilton directs this spectacular 14 camera shoot. A surprise Easter egg is included! Included is a previously unreleased track. The package is available in Amaray or Jewel case packaging. In 2003, Evanescence scored a surprise hit with FALLEN by combining an intensely heavy, nu-metal sound with old-school goth visual/lyrical elements, and the quasi-operatic vocals of lead singer Amy Lee. The CD/DVD set ANYWHERE BUT HOME documents the band's non-stop touring schedule with in-concert takes on nine of FALLEN's 10 songs. In addition, the release includes a soaring, piano-based cover of Korn's 2002 hit "Thoughtless," and "Missing," a newly recorded studio effort that features moody vocals, dance beats, and a glockenspiel! Most tracks stick fairly close to their studio counterparts, but benefit from the added bombast, drama, and crowd interaction that a live recording affords. Of course, as on Evanescence's debut, the main attraction is Lee's voice, which is in fine form here--the singer belts out every word to the wildly enthusiastic Paris, France crowd with a mix of alt-rock melancholy and hard-rock power. Evanescence: Amy Lee (vocals); Terry Balsalmo, Johnny LeCompt (guitar); William ...
