Closed Captioned; Standard Screen; Bio/Filmographies; Soundtrack English; English Subtitles In the midst of a 1962 pleasure cruise, the passengers and crew of Italian luxury liner the Antonia Graza are systematically slaughtered and left in pieces by a gang of terrorists. Forty years later, the ship is spotted drifting in the Bering sea. Fresh off a six-month journey, an Alaska-based seafaring salvage team lead by Murphy (Gabriel Byrne) and Epps (Julianna Margulies) are approached by a Canadian weather spotter (Desmond Harrington) who noticed the derelict vessel on a flyover. Tempted by the possibility of untold riches, the crew takes on the job of tracking down the ship. Once aboard though, strange things start to happen, beginning with Epps's sighting of the ghost of a little girl. After the team finds a cache of gold, all hell breaks loose, and the angry ghosts make themselves known--and begin destroying the intruders one by one.
Purely and simply a floating haunted house tale, GHOST SHIP is a creepy thrill ride that compensates for its lack of originality with some creepy art direction and a number of very grisly special effects. Director Steve Beck (13 GHOSTS) keeps things appropriately dark, and coaxes suitably world-weary performances from Gabriel Byrne and Julianna Margulies, who makes an appealing heroine. Theatrical Release Date: October 25, 2002

Ghost Ship Movie Review Average Rating: (4 out of 5 stars) DARK CASTLE HORROR COLLECTION This is a O.K. movie if you like movies about ghost or about ships being haunted.

Hooray for CD Universe I had been trying to get this DVD for ages yay!Love this movie sick! The first five minutes of the movie is so cool. Blood and gore in that short a space of time is only just the start. Submitted by patto76 (North Rockhampton, QLD, AUS) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No This review is for a different format.
"Bon voyage" to terror This time the haunted place is a ship; A ghost ship. On board, some salvage experts definitely will experience an other kind of cruise?
This movie ressembles to an older one called «The death ship». It is almost the same basic idea, plus more visual effects.
The story ?to the end? is easily expected. Though, it is a honest production for horror fans, well balanced and carefully executed. Desmond Harrington is very good in his key-role and he suits perfectly to the notorious atmosphere created.
The quality of dvd is fine and there are very interesting extras.

$20.15 This is a Super Audio CD playable only on Super Audio CD players.
Recorded on a simple 12-track recorder as a demo, it was so good that the record company released it. Tom Scholz masterminded the project in his spare time; little did he know that this record came to define AOR, and would become a hi-fi store standard demo disc. Since that time, this record-breaking debut has sold 15 million copies in its homeland. Sholtz put so much effort into making it, he has managed only three further records in ...

A direct descendant from the pedigree of one of the 20th century's virtuosos, Norah Jones might not be on such a lofty artistic level as her dad Ravi Shankar, but certainly inherited some musical intuition from him. With nary a sitar nor raga within earshot, the young newcomer sounds very much an assimilated, western, 21st century pop-jazz singer. One thing that separates her from the pack is Ms. Jones' own piano stylings--not flashy, but deftly doubling or echoing her voice--that discreetly act as the glue holding together these airy, delicate, and beautiful arrangements.
But the centerpiece is certainly the 22-year-old's confident-beyond-her-years vocal delivery in addition to a precise diction and velvety tone. Shades of Nina Simone, vintage Phoebe Snow, and a less beatnik Rickie Lee Jones are evident throughout as the young siren coolly sashays through mostly new material by guitarist-songwriter Jesse Harris (formerly of Once Blue) and a few choice covers. Veteran producer Arif Mardin frames a most notable debut with a translucent touch, and appearances by jazz heroes Bill Frisell and Brian Blade gild the lily.

| | Freddy vs. Jason DVDs (2003) Full Frame; Widescreen; Subtitled
Ghost Ship film
$8.05 Veteran slashers Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees join forces in this combination sequel to the NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET and FRIDAY THE 13TH series. The film begins with a quick recap of both Freddy and Jason's "lives," underscoring their respective motivations to kill and their distinct weaknesses. Freddy (Robert Englund) explains that the present children of Elm St. (including Monica Keena, Jason Ritter, Katherine Isabelle, and Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child) have no memory of him, and if they don't know he exists, he can't enter their dreams to kill them. Ingeniously, he reaches out to Jason (Ken Kirzinger), the brutish death machine from Camp Crystal Lake, to go on an Elm Street killing spree, hoping a lot of gory murder will jog the town's memory.
Jason is up to the task, quickly dispensing with teenager after teenager in suburban homes, cornfields, medical labs and, of course, the forest. Freddy grows jealous over Jason's body count, and so must intervene, setting off a battle royale between the two highly adored slasher heroes across dreamworlds and realities. In another post-modern twist, a character seemingly modeled after Jay from ...

| | Super Milk-Chan Show - Vol. 2: Milk Shake DVDs (2004)
Ghost Ship movie DVD
$23.39 With a twisted, adult sense of humor similar to that of SOUTH PARK, this darkly satiric anime series revolves around the adorable Milk-Chan, a lazy and self-absorbed 5-year-old superheroine who doesn't appear to posses any superpowers whatsoever. When the none-too-bright President hires her to solve the world's problems, laughter and chaos ensue in equal measures as the hapless heroine attempts to rise to the challenge in between rounds of TV-watching and snacktime. With an oddball assortment of supporting characters--including robot maid Tetsuko, frustrated landlord Lalo, mechanical pet Robodog, mad scientist Dr. Eye Patch, and an alcoholic slug named Hanage--THE SUPER MILK-CHAN SHOW is a charmingly off-kilter parody of the superhero genre. This second volume of episodes continues the adventures of the pintsized, foulmouthed crusader.
With alien abductions, homeless hobos, a dysfunctional crew, overdue rent bills and an insecure ruler calling her all the time, Milk doesn't ...
