FALSTAFF was Verdi's last opera, written six years after OTHELLO, and is featured on DVD in this production from 2001, the 100th anniversary of Verdi's death. Verdi - Falstaff movie As staged by Herbert Wernicke at the Festival de Musique d'Aix-en-Provence, this was one his last production before his untimely death in 2002.
