This Angel-developed street racer deals out more than 28 street machines over three massive cities. Depending on the race, players can either follow an obvious course or find their own routes, using quick instincts and knowledge of the city's side streets, alleyways, shortcuts and ramps. Like the first in the series, the open design provides players with intelligent choices to make, instead of fixed rails in which to proceed. Career mode starts players off in a city and enables them to freely choose an opponent by flashing their lights, communicating the desire to drag. The game supports four-player split-screen racing and online play for up to eight. this game had good graphics and looks pretty nice at the first look. the biggest problem with this game is that there are many cheats available and most of the players are using those over xbox live so it makes the game less interesting. everyone picks the best cars so the single player mode becomes worthless. even if you complete the single player missions and get the best car , someone else who never played can use a cheat to get the best car and compete with it online.

looks good but the fun doesnt last long...
i liked this game at the start. the game has good graphics and looks pretty cool racing with cars over xbox live. i have beed dissapointed with the cheats in this game which ruins the fun. most of the people who own this game are using cheats and almost everyone has the best car in the game so it makes it very boring very fast because even if you are good and play without cheating you will encounter some cheaters that has the same car than you have after completing the single player races. personally i didnt liked the game much and sold it almost right away. i suggest you wait for the upcoming sega gt online which is low priced and more promising than this game. the only reason to buy midnight club 2 is really if you are a race fanatic and that you want them all. otherwise i suggest you wait for better games than this one.

This game is realistic (only if the driving view is in the car), the city maps are very detailed and the storyline has charcters that will make you say things like 'Man, Hector's a bad ass, mother'. It's fun winning better cars and taking on better racers, hence the challenge and avoiding cops and pedestrains is intense @ 140 mph. Get this game if you like the street racing at it's best!!!
