Poor remastering I have been a JT fan for many years. I was very exited about this cd due to the fact it was remastered. I must say, however, that I find the remastering very disapointing. Yes the vocals are more clear and the bass is improved but the rest of the music sounds flat and lacking in detail. It amy sound better via an ipod but on a good sytem the non-remasted cds are superior. Submitted by pmpcod (Belle Mead NJ) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
This Best of is Grand! The only problem with this cd - is - t that it's impossible to put all the Best of James Taylor on 1 cd! This fab cd does it admirably - many of your favs are there - a few missing. This has 20 songs of talented sweet baby James! Submitted by lejjamie (Chicago, IL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Great CD, Great Sound Quality! Thankyou Bill and Dan at Digiprep; wonderful job remastering! Throw away Greatest Hits I & II, they aren't worth listening to once you've listened to this one. JT in his prime. A few biggies missing but most are here. This with the digitally remastered tri-pak of Flag, JT and Dad Loves His Work combined with his last two releases should just about get it short of a full fledged digitally remastered box set; which I have no doubt is forthcoming but who knows when?
