Creature From Black Lake Movie Review Average Rating: (4.3 out of 5 stars) Most terrifying of ALL Of all of the 70's genre Bigfoot movies, this one is by far the most terrifying.
The creature is not gawky, or cheesy looking, and there are bigger-time actors. Elam and Dub Taylor are magnificent, as are most of the characters. The swamp location for the Skunk Ape is hauntingly erie, yet very natural.
5 star for the ape-man enthusiast. Submitted by scgamecock (Walhalla, SC, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
bigfoot classic a classic film of two men, a van, and a furry squatch that hates tents, vans and drunk backwoodsmen. Grainy and old but still better than some of the stuff I see at the video store today. Submitted by scorch149 (tampa fl) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Cajun creature aint playin! A campy, low-budget, classic where bigfoot kicks tail and takes names! If you like cheesy monster movies on a Sat. afternoon this is a good one! Jack Elam is great as the drunk old woodsman that is quick with a shotgun and a shot glass! This film makes me want to get a van and hunt a sasquatch! $8.45 This collection of three vintage Sasquatch movies includes the first science fiction film ever to feature a Yeti. THE SNOW CREATURE (1954) finds botanist Dr. Parrish (Paul Langton) on an expedition in Tibet, when his Sherpa guide claims that his wife has been kidnapped by a Bigfoot. Meeting disbelief from his Western charges, he takes the group at gunpoint and leads them to the cave where a family of Yetis is holding his wife captive, and the scientists are able to capture one of them. En route to the States, however, it escapes, and winds up terrorizing Los Angeles. Then, in SNOWBEAST (1977), a ski resort is plagued by a rash of deaths apparently caused by animal attacks; the sheriff (Clint Walker) thinks that a Yeti is behind the killings, but the resort owner (Sylvia Sidney), protective of her business, unwisely keeps the place open. Ultimately, it's up to a couple of champion skiers (Bo Svenson and Yvette Minieux) to hunt the beast down. Finally, in the docudrama SASQUATCH, THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT (1977), scientists are combing the Pacific Northwest for evidence of the Sasquatch. They are attempting ...

$23.99 The hallowed tradition of the post-college European backpacking trip turns into an unimaginable nightmare for two unsuspecting American 20-somethings in Eli Roth's (CABIN FEVER) sensational second outing. Paxton (Jay Hernandez) and Josh (Derek Richardson) have embarked upon a hedonistic tour of the continent, and somewhere along the way they picked up an Icelandic lunk named Oli (Eythor Gudjonsson). In Amsterdam the trio partakes of the pastimes most dear to frat boys everywhere: weed, prostitutes, and nightclubs. But when a fellow traveler tells these thrill-seekers about the decadent scene that awaits them in Bratislava, they find themselves unable to resist its lures; enticed by the promise of a hostel full of beautiful girls who love Americans, they set out for the remote areas of Eastern Europe. There, the sex farce to which ...

Creature From Black Lake movie DVD
$10.25 Based on the first novel in Christopher Paolini's popular INHERITANCE trilogy, ERAGON is a fantastical adventure in a vein similar to that of the LORD OF THE RINGS trilogy and THE CHRONICLES OF NARNIA. A classic story of a quest driven by destiny and set in a land where elves, magicians, and humans live side by side, the battle between good and evil, innocence and cynicism, is taken up once again. John Malkovitch camps it up as the evil King Galbatorix, a former guardian of peace who long ago went over to the dark side. He now rules over a land from which dragons have all but disappeared, until humble farm boy Eragon (newcomer Edward Speelers) happens upon a mysterious blue object that turns out to be a dragon egg. Eragon befriends the charming dragon cub, Saphira (voiced with aplomb by Rachel Weisz), and becomes her rider, designating him as the principal warrior in the fight against evil. Jeremy Irons steals the show as the wise and mysterious old man who becomes Eragon's mentor, guiding him through the tasks of saving a princess (Sienna Guillory) battling an evil ...
