Back In Black album Product Description
After the untimely death of former enigmatic vocalist Bon Scott, AC/DC finally chanced upon a worthy replacement in the shape of former Geordie frontman, Brian Johnson. The result was more than the formal pastiche some expected, with Johnson stamping his own personality, not to mention distinctive rasp, on the record. The band's staple lyrical diet of sex and the general pursuit of happiness, however, remained very much intact. Highlights include the stomping 'Hell's Bells', the quiet build of the title track, and the chuckling insolence of, 'Rock And Roll Ain't Noise Pollution'. A winning return. AC/DC's 1980 album digitally remastered and reissued in a special digipak plus a 16 page full color booklet containing all original album art, many unpublished photos, classic memorabilia and new 2003 liner notes. Epic. Audio Mixer: Brad Samuelsohn. Audio Remasterer: Ted Jensen. Liner Note Author: David Fricke. Recording information: Compass Point Studios (04/1980-05/1980). | Pretty Good I really liked this one. But I still like High Voltage, and Let There Be Rock more. And I liked Bon scott better than Brian Johnston. I still have to give them credit for coming up with something this good for a first album with a new singer. By tony (Las Vegas , NV) |
| A staggering achievement and a brilliant album What can one say? At the least one can say that Back in Black is staggering achievement and a brilliant album for the following 3 reasons: (1)Had to replace Bon. (2)Back in Black followed the highly successful Highway to Hell album. (3)There is no weakness in the album. As of today, over 42-million albums of Back in Black have sold world-wide—the second highest in world history. Quentessential AC/DC. Back in Black is an amazing album by an amazing hard-rock band. Love it. In fact, I am listening to it now ("Have a Drink on Me", to be specific). By willist1 (dallas) |
 | Best AC/DC ever I have heard people saying that ¨Highway to hell¨ is the best AC/DC album but in my opinion this is the best one, the music and songs are perfect there is no bad song on this album, my favorite one ¨Let me put my Love into you¨ but the whole album is amazing, if you have not heard this album before do it. I agree that Bon Scott was great and obviously their original singer and that was why at the time he passed away AC/DC was forced to released a much better album than the ones with Bon Scott to have their fans happy and that the band and their music still over the time.
