Closed Captioned; Soundtrack English Rock Hudson teams up with Gina Lollobrigida in this Italian-flavored romantic comedy. Wealthy Robert Talbot enjoys a comfortable life, including a month's vacation every September at his luxurious Italian villa. But one year he decides to visit his second home in July, instead. Little does Talbot know, his sneaky business associate Maurice has turned his villa into a hotel for eleven months of the year and is making a killing. Talbot has to deal with Maurice -- but also with such comic elements as a freewheeling woman and an out-of-control jeep! This was Bobby Darin's first film role, following which he married costar Sandra Dee. Additional cast: Ronnie Haran (Sparrow); Chris Seitz (Larry); and Cindy Conroy (Julio).
Filmed on location in Italy.
Shot in Cinemascope. Color by Technicolor. Come September Reviews: "...Polished....[Lollobrigida] makes a fiery comic foil..."

Come September Movie Review Average Rating: (3.8 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Very entertaining! I first saw it in the 70's on TV in Singapore when I had my second overseas assignment. I taped it and watch it once in a couple of years or so in the first 10 years. The movie cast and directing were great! Bobby Darin sang some memorable songs in the movie. Dont' forget Joel Grey had small role in the cast as well. See if you spot him! Submitted by tdtsailaurel (Central Jersey) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Realmente extraordinaria!!!
La he vuelto a disfrutar.

Would highly recommend it; particularly when you want to watch a movie that is entertaining, funny and doesn't require profound thought or deep analyzation of the movies meaning. $10.89 A dishwasher in a Greenwich Village coffeehouse, Alex Andero (Michael Parducci) loves the movies. He's a big fan of action star Jagger Stevens (Hoyt Richards) and often calls his annoyed uncle in Hollywood to pitch him screenwriting ideas. Alex's script has Jagger discovering a smuggling ring in the fashion industry, then taking out the terrorists in a hail of gunfire and falling bodies, with a gorgeous model at his side. Suddenly, beyond his wildest dreams, Alex gets his shot, but the studio needs writing samples and Alex has never written more than a couple of sentences on a napkin or menu. He begins taking ...

$6.99 Where can a girl who is usually the heartbreaker find the perfect guy? For Christina Walters (Cameron Diaz), the answer is the San Francisco nightclub where she meets Peter Donahue (Thomas Jane). Unfortunately, their meeting is fleeting and this quintessential hip party girl is left in unfamiliar territory--smitten by a total stranger. Determined to see her best friend happy, Courtney Rockliffe (Christina Applegate) takes Christina on a road trip to Peter's sleepy California hometown in search of the man of her dreams. In the meantime, Christina's roommate, the just-dumped Jane Burns (Selma Blair), engages in her own lusty pursuits. Diaz and Applegate have great chemistry and are utterly believable as best friends. The script by Nancy M. Pimental, who wrote for South Park, blends raunchy humor and sentimentality, both of which are complimented by a healthy dose of sight gags. Directed by Roger Kumble (CRUEL INTENTIONS), THE SWEETEST THING is an amusing--albeit somewhat crude--look at what people will do for love. The film also features Jason Bateman in fine form as Peter's ...

As more and more American corporations are replacing American job holders with foreign workers, who are willing to work for less pay, US families are left without resources or an economic foothold. Meanwhile, foreign workers are exploited, and corporate CEOs are the only ones who ...
