Standard Screen; Soundtrack English; Dolby Digital 5.1 Re; DTS Sound The Wilson sisters rose to fame in the 1980's with their own inimitable blend of glam rock and hard rockin' tunes, spawning massive hits like "Alone" and "These Dreams," both of which are included here. This concert sees them make a triumphant return to their hometown of Seattle -- ironically the city that spawned grunge in the early 90's, and effectively killed off many of the 80's metal bands. With a career-spanning selection of material, catch early classics like "Barracuda," and "Crazy on You" alongside more recent material. Heart - Alive In Seattle Video Heart - Alive In Seattle Movie Review Average Rating: (4.5 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews This Heart is more alive than ever!!!!! The Wilson sisters still rock on!!!!
The Ann´s strong voice and the beautiful Nancy´s guitars performance, rounded by the thunder bass of Mike Inez (ex Ozzy, Alice in Chains) makes this DVD a totally great experience!!!!! Without a doubt, Heart still rockin´very well!!! Submitted by rokkinhead (Santiago of Chile) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No 1 of 1 found this helpful.
Heart is in the right place! Now recorded for posterity this concert shows Heart performing at The Paramount in Seattle 2002 – the last date of the band’s American tour. The track list for this set is very similar to the one on “The Road Home” DVD. But you can rest assured that this is an entirely different affair! There are two major reasons for this important difference between the DVDs. It’s a much harder rocking effort than it’s predecessor to begin with and secondly, several great new songs are included. Ann & Nancy Wilson clearly haven’t lost their knack for good song-writing. The show is both a celebration of past merits – as hit making rock stars in the Seventies and Eighties – and a look at the resurrected Heart in the new millennium and where they are going music-wise.
Not wanting to turn this event into a rock revival act performing 25 year old hits, Heart has added less well-known songs which have been given a new life, so to speak. There’s room for a set of acoustic songs halfway through the concert, and some Led Zeppelin covers which I can easily do without. But otherwise the mix of old and new is very potent.
The sound is good but surprisingly the Dolby Digital and DTS surround have been mixed in 5.0, leaving out the LFE-channel.
You can tell that the audience was having a great time on this trip down Memory Lane guided by the Wilson siblings. Seattle is indeed America’s Heartland.

Great concert The photography and sound are just great. Very high quality. The music is wonderful -- I especially like the Battle of Evermore.
This is a great video!
Just a little more energy from the band and I would have rated it 5 stars.

$22.75 Very few Led Zeppelin performances were caught on camera during the band's life-span, but the footage that has been preserved for posterity is collected on this release. With a running time of over five-and-a-half hours, this is the definitive word on Zep's global stage-straddling performances. The footage is taken from London's Royal Albert Hall in January 1970, London's Earls Court in May 1975, Knebworth in August 1979, and ...

$9.49 These 1962 performances by The Louis Armstrong All Stars and The Eddie Condon All Stars were recorded as promotional films for the Goodyear Tire Company, and they rank among the finest Jazz films ever recorded during that period as they were filmed in stereo and on 35mm color film. An irreplacable document of some great jazz.
