Nelson and his men fly into Burma, behind Japanese lines, in order to destroy a pivotal radar station. After completing their task, the soldiers start to make their way back to the pick-up point, when a contingent of Japanese troops confronts them.
Now the captives will endure a grueling fate -- and they can only hope they're strong enough to survive long enough to get rescued. A group of paratroopers are dropped into the Burmese jungle to wipe out a Japanese radar station. Academy Award Nominations: 3, including Best Original Story. Additional cast: Joel Allen (Brophy), Asit Koomar (Ghurka), John Sheridan (Co-Pilot), and Erville Anderson (General Stilwell).
