UK soul trio Loose Ends scored a spate of R&B hits in the 1980s including "Watching You," featured on 1988's THE REAL CHUCKEBOO, an album which marked the final appearance of the band's original line-up.
This was the final album featuring British dance/R&B vocalists Jane Eugene, Steve Nichol, and Carl McIntosh. They had been quite successful on both sides of the Atlantic in the mid-'80s and were at the time of this release not only performing but writing and producing tracks for Juliet Roberts, Phyllis Hyman, Five Star, Peter Royer, Cheryl Lynn, and Lavine Hudson. Their focus may have been divided, because this was their least attractive and interesting album of the string with the core trio. It did have a fine single in "Watching You," and "Mr. Bachelor" was a nice concept cut. But it was no surprise that they split following the album. ~ Ron Wynn
The last album recorded by the original Loose Ends lineup of Carl McIntosh, Jane Eugene, and Steve Nichol. Includes the hit single "Watching You" as well as the "Real Chuckeeboo" suite. Loose Ends Real Chuckeeboo Songs | 1. | Watching You |

| Real Chuckeeboo Music Review Average Rating: (4.9 out of 5 stars) List All Reviews Thank you for having a hard to find CD I have been trying to find this CD for years, and thanks to CD universe I was able to purches it with no problem. As far as what I think of the CD I had heard two of the songs that I like (that is why I bought this CD ) and I was pleasantly suprised that the rest of the CD is just as good as the two song that I knew about. A True R&B Classic The real Chuckeeboo is an R&B treasure!
I heard the album for the first time over my best friend's house in 1988. From that moment on I have loved the music of Loose Ends! I give this album my highest possible recommendation! I've had the tape for years. I recently ordered the album on CD. I have been searching for eight long years. I looked all over the country from NewYork to Los Angeles. In commercial record stores to whole in the wall vendors. Soon in a couple of days my long search will be over! Anyone who loves R&B must own this album! One of the great things about the Real Chuckeeboo is the unique sound it had a part from the rest of the music world at that time. My dream is to see them come back together and tour the United States! That would be awesome! Every song is excellent but my favorite is "Mr. Bachelor." The production is superior and the vocals are jazzy and soulful! This album should have been a huge hit for the group. Instead The Real Chuckeeboo is an underground classic. They did not get the attention of Soul II Soul another group I love. But Loose Ends in their prime was pound for pound one of the best R&B groups ever assembled. Everybody get righteous! What it took to get this masterpiece in my collection. All Loose Ends fans agree "Zagora" was the groups best album. Guess which CD I find more enjoyable and listen to more when thr Loose Ends mood hits me. This one! I bought the cassette in the 1980's when it first came out. Of course that eventually wore out. I actually got a uncle of mine to copy it from his LP collection onto cassette in the mid 90's. Well after years of looking for the CD new or used, I finally found it at a London website and had it shipped to me across the ocean almost a year ago. This is only the second place I've even seen the CD available. Why this CD didn't not have the same impact as Zagora is a mystery. Radio staions in the US missed it! I guess the dance classics "Slow Down" and "Stay A Little While Child" actually hurt this album from getting a fair listen when it came out. Must get for all Loose Ends or Soul II Soul fans! For R&B - Jazz Lovers I purchased this musical collection first in 1988, in cassette format. I played that tape so much, it finally smacked. I have been hooked on "Loose Ends" ever since and I was so glad to finally find it, in CD format.
If you are a R&B - Jazz lover you will love this oldie but goodie. Submitted by a reviewer (Hayes, VA, USA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

$9.09 With TRAP MUZIK, Georgia rapper T.I. boldly established himself as a young rapper to watch and a sought-after guest artist. As if to cement his stardom, T.I. opens his third record, URBAN LEGEND, with one of the most famous declarations in the history of hip-hop, Run-DMC's "I'm the kiiiing," building the assured track ("Tha King") around a sleek "Hit It Run" sample. On that song, T.I. wanders around the rap iconography of the South, asserting himself the new leader and claiming that his ascendance came without the aid of major guest appearances on his previous album.
With URBAN LEGEND, however, the cast list is practically overwhelming (Trick Daddy, Lil' Kim, Lil Jon, Lil Wayne), but smartly, T.I. lets his own lyrical light shine until the seventh track, when Nelly comes in for the slick, Jazze Pha-produced "Get Loose." Throughout the album, T.I. unleashes his brash swagger, and his delivery brims with an earnest confidence. URBAN LEGEND reveals a rapper comfortable in his game, both riding solo and bouncing his rhymes off of others.
T.I. sought out Paul Wall to give Urban Legend the chopped and screwed ...
