This is a decent compilation that shows a couple sides of contemporary Indian music. Things start off with a light classical piece from the beautiful Call of the Valley by Shivkumar Sharma, Hariprasad Chaurasia, and Brij Bhushan Kabra, then move into some Bollywood material, and some more recent dancefloor-oriented material.
