| | Erika Luckett Tinted Glass CD Erika Luckett Discography of CDs
What happens when you stir a pot of soulful melodies with a funky acoustic guitar, put it over the flame of some deep latin rhythms and serve it with intimate vocals? You get "Tinted Glass," Erika Luckett's debut solo album. Smokey vocals over a deeply grooving guitar. Stories and melodies that keep speaking to you long after the CD has stopped playing. It's like Joni Mitchell got together with Tom Jobim and decided to spend a month in Cuba. Erika was born in Mexico, raised in Venezuela and Brazil, played in the Paris subways as a teenager and has spent the last nine years touring in the jazz circuit with her world fusion band, Wild Mango. After three albums with the band, she decided to venture out on her own and released "Tinted Glass" in February 2000. Erika Luckett Tinted Glass Songs | 1. | Fire |

| | Taylor Swift Fearless CDs (2008) With DVD; Bonus Tracks; Special Edition
Tinted Glass music CDs
$13.99 Taylor Swift abandons any pretense that she's a teen on her second album, FEARLESS--which isn't to say that she suddenly tarts herself up, running away from her youth in a manner that's all too familiar to many teen stars. Swift's maturation is deliberate and careful, styled after the crossover country-pop of Shania Twain and Faith Hill before they turned into divas. Despite the success of her self-titled 2006 debut, there's nothing at all diva-like about Swift on FEARLESS: she's soft-spoken and considerate, a big sister instead of a big star. ...

| | Carrie Underwood Play On CD (2009)
Tinted Glass album
$12.95 Daisy in her hair aside, Carrie Underwood looks flat-out glamorous on the cover of PLAY ON, which is a pretty fair indication of what awaits listeners on her third album. Carrie is still nominally a country artist and sometimes will sing supported by fiddles and steel guitar, but this is crossover pop pure and simple, whether it's the thundering rhythms on the Shania-styled strut "Cowboy Casanova" or the succession of maudlin melodies on the preponderance of power ballads. Carrie takes a much stronger presence as a writer here, co-authoring seven of the 13 songs, and she's attracted to hookless showstoppers designed to showcase her powerful voice. When she sticks to tunes written solely by the professionals, PLAY ON does have some slick pleasures, particularly on the breezy "Quitter" and "This Time," songs built on solid melodies and delivered without flash, relying on craft and Carrie's considerable small-town charm.

| | Lady Gaga Fame Monster CDs (2009) Deluxe Edition
Tinted Glass CD music
$16.24 Initially planned solely as a standard double-disc reissue in the wake of the blockbuster success of The Fame, Lady Gaga decided to release the new material as a separate EP called The Fame Monster in addition to the standard two-CD set, where it's tacked onto a now standardized version of her debut. It's a nice move for fans, plus it helps emphasize the new material, which does act as a bridge from the debut to a forthcoming full-length. Everything on The Fame Monster bears a galvanized Eurotrash finish, as evident on the heavy steel synths of "Bad Romance" ...

After singing in various talent contests and winning she almost considered to make a career of singing but preferred to go to college instead to study Economics and Political Science. While attending Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota she however could not deny her passion for singing and was actively involved in the legendary Afro-American singing group 'Sounds of Blackness' directed by Mr. Gary Hines who also accompanied her at the piano during the finals for the Miss Black Minnesota contest which she won!. again partly because of her singing talents. From that moment her interests in music and singing have never waned. Although she does not play an instrument she considers her voice to be an instrument and tries constantly to improve and expand what she considers to be a God-given talent. Over the years she has had contacts with various artists such Richie Havens, Amii Stewart, Joe Cocker, Fred Bongusto, Claudio Rocchi, Zucchero Fornacari and Paolo Tofani (Krsna Prema Das) from whom she learned many things and admires as individuals and as artists. MiraBai also feels that her musicality can not and should not be separated from her search for self-realization. MiraBai has traveled to India to see and experience first hand the spirituality for which India is famous. Her experiences with Indian culture and music impressed her so much that she decided to combine traditional Indian music with gospel, soul and blues; a combination which she has discovered helps her to express her most inner feelings and thoughts. JALEBI is her first experience as the lead singer and feels that her collaboration with the other members of JALEBI is an opportunity to develop her talents and to share her love for music and different cultures with those who like to listen to great music!RAMANANDA ROY DASRamananda Roy has always ...
