This DVD feature film stars Kirk Douglas and Walter Matthau. In André de Toth's rough and tumble Western, Kirk Douglas stars as Johnny Hawks, a cocky, brash cowboy notorious as the Indian fighter throughout the Oregon territories. Captain Trask (Walter Abel), commander of the local fort, calls in Hawks due to trouble with the neighboring Sioux tribe, lead by Chief Red Cloud (Eduard Franz). Hawks visits the Chief to threaten and cajole for peace, and falls for his striking daughter, Onahti (Elsa Martinelli), who resists Hawks' lusty advances. Tensions mount when gold-hungry settlers Chivington (Lon Chaney) and Wes Todd (Walter Matthau), enrage the Chief's brother, Grey Wolf (Harry Landers), by attempting to trade whiskey for the Indian's gold. Hawks must broker a peace treaty, however, so the Sioux will allow a wagon train to pass through their land unharmed. Hawks accompanies the wagon train by the side of widowed mother, Susan Rogers (Diana Douglas), who hopes Johnny will marry her. Hawks, however, is preoccupied with his love for Onahti and with Chivington and Todd's dangerous quest to locate the Sioux gold. De Toth's colorful, action-packed tale of cowboys and Indians features a tense final standoff and strong performances by the dynamic Douglas and Matthau, in his sophomore film role. "Indian Fighter" was the first feature produced by Kirk Douglas's independent production company, Bryna, named after his mother.
Additional cast: Michael Winkelman (Tommy Rogers), Harry Landers (Grey Wolf), William Phipps (Lt. Blake), and Buzz Henry (Lt. Shaeffer).
Additional credits: Samuel P. Norton (associate producer), Joe Edmondson (sound) and Anne Buydens (casting supervisor).
Casting supervisor Anne Buydens is Kirk Douglas's second wife. His first wife, Diana, mother of Michael Douglas, plays Susan Rogers.
Though he is not credited in the film scroll, Kirk Douglas is the executive producer of the film.

$6.55 Directed by Roman Coppola (the son of Francis Ford Coppola and brother of Sofia) in his feature film debut, CQ follows Paul (Jeremy Davies), an aspiring American filmmaker living in Paris circa 1969 with his French girlfriend, Marlene (Élodie Boulez). When Paul's not in his flat making an angst-ridden home movie and treating Marlene with complete indifference, he's working as a editor on a sci-fi film helmed by the volatile Andrezej (Gérard Depardieu) and starring the beautiful Valentine (Angela Lindvall) as Dragonfly, a sexy secret agent. After a tense fight between Andrezej and the film's producer (Giancarlo Giannini), Paul is promoted to director, leaving him with an unfinished film and a growing infatuation with Valentine.
A tribute to late-1960s guilty pleasures such ...
