Cool and great animations and story line,especially the first story.And the 2nd story also tell us how it all began,before the matrix exist.It shows us how the machines or "AI" become the master of human kind.A must hv for all those matrix maniacs...

 Wow...then Yawn.
The first 3 stories are good. It really relates to the Matrix movie and world. But the other 6 are really just fill-ins with no relevance to the main story. The other 6 are really boring and eerie.

Great draws,animation & soundtrack,maybe even better story!
I saw LAst Fligh of the Osiris at The Dream Catcher Premiere, and well, with all the team of Final Fantasy movie, that was great, and just a few week ago, i recieved all the Animatrix videos, and they rock! The draws, animation & soundtrack are great!, maybe even the story is better thatn the original movie, great aime directors worked giving theur best to make the films, u can understaqnd perfectly the Matrix world, and the Soundtrack included it´s cool! ot like that POP garbage at the Radio and Mtv all day. This is a must have, for all that Matrix/Anime/Special Effects/Soundtrack Fans out there, Definitely!

This is one of the best collection of short films in a long time. The computer work on the first short film is many times better than the work from Final Fantasy. The way each of the artists expand on The Matrix is also amazing. Great artwork plus great story lines equals a great DVD or VHS.
