Wow...then Yawn. The first 3 stories are good. It really relates to the Matrix movie and world. But the other 6 are really just fill-ins with no relevance to the main story. The other 6 are really boring and eerie. Submitted by a reviewer (San Francisco, CA) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Amazing This is one of the best collection of short films in a long time. The computer work on the first short film is many times better than the work from Final Fantasy. The way each of the artists expand on The Matrix is also amazing. Great artwork plus great story lines equals a great DVD or VHS. Animatrix review
$21.49 Combining romance, gothic horror, science fiction, and bloody action into a dazzling anime production, VAMPIRE HUNTER D (2000) takes the vampire mythos to a new level. This movie is not a remake or a continuation of the 1985 movie of the same title. That movie was loosely based on the first of Kikuchi Hideyuki's VAMPIRE HUNTER D books, set 10,000 years in the future. VAMPIRE HUNTER D (2000) takes its cue from the third book in the series, though there are significant deviations in plot. Here, the charismatic vampire, Meier Link, arrives in ...

Animatrix review
$23.79 BOSTON LEGAL, a wry courtroom television show that walks the line between drama and comedy, is the creation of perennial hit-maker David E. Kelly (ALLY MCBEAL, PICKET FENCES). BOSTON LEGAL revolves around the Boston litigation law firm of Crane, Poole, & Schmidt, in particular two eccentric and flawed attorneys, Alan Shore and Denny Crane. Shore, an unscrupulous and wily ambulance chaser and womanizer (played, with sly charm by James Spader) finds an uneasy alliance with Crane, a bombastic, self-aggrandizing, and occasionally batty elder lawyer (William Shatner in an Emmy-winning ...
