Man Of No Importance Soundtrack Music Review

4 stars A Unique Score for two of Broadway's best.
I found the music enchanting and heartfelt. If you are a fan of Ahrens and Flaherty (as I am) this is unlike anything that they have written before; but it has their stamp of quality all over it. I don't suppose that you will be dissappointed by your purchase of this score.

4 stars An Important New Musical
Flaherty and Ahrens have written a beautiful score for A Man of No Importance. It is an Irish-flavored score, with some incredible musical moments. A few moments of the score are slow, but in general it is a beautiful piece. A must-have for a Flaherty/Ahrens fan.

3 stars Touching "Man of No Importance"
I saw this show last Fall and was very much moved by the sensitive story and songs. Having the opportunity to hear the score several times on the recording only confirms how well-crafted the music and lyrics are and how sensitively the cast interprets the songs. This is a very touching musical that deserves to be better known and hopefully will have a much further theatrical life through this recording.
