| BEAUTIFUL & DIFFERENT SOUND FOR THE ANGEL OF MUSIC
Sarah Has Done it again! After La Luna I thought it could not be done again. At the first listen of this cd it is different from the classic and show voice of Sarah but ever so beautiful. The music is inspiring & uplifting. Sweet & Seductive in entrances you into her harem world.

| Awesome Job!
This is by far Sarah's best album. I love Middle Eastern music so when I looked up my favorite singer Natacha Atlas, it said she was a backing vocal to this CD. I listened to it and it was amazing. I now own Harem and it will never be traded in.

| Friggin outstanding
Not being that familiar with Sarah, I stumbled across her on a PBS special. This is the music I have been waiting for. To describe it would be to add a mix of Loreena McKennitt, Sting's desert rose, a dash of Yanni (don't laugh), and a sprinkle of fantasy inspired by Arabian Nights (the classic movie) with a smooth transition back and forth between pop, opera and Bollywood (really a better mix than I can write words for). This disk will be in my player for quite some time.

| That's Sarah for ya!
Sarah Brightman is famous for having a uniquely and extremely beautiful voice. She is also well known for her eclectic repertory. Well this time Sarah has returned to pop after having ventured into rock (her album titled "Fly") and classical (TTSG, Eden, La Luna), and boy is this deliciously tasty pop! At first I did not enjoy Harem too much because I was getting used to Sarah's trademark "classical slant" repertoire, and was measuring it against those 3 albums. However when I stopped trying to think of it as an album succeeding the classical albums and started to view it as a new pop-genre effort, I began to enjoy Harem more and more with each listen. Each track is wonderful, from the dance/techno feel of "Harem", "The Journey Home" and "Mysterious Days" to the lyrical "What You Never Know", "Stranger in Paradise", and "Until the End of Time". There are also some selections that have a most gorgeous choir background, specifically the tracks "Free" and "Misere Mei"-"Beautiful".
