| | Jukebox Memories CD Mills Brothers Discography of CDs
(1 Customer Review)
The Mills Brothers recorded dozens of excellent performances throughout the years, very few of which are displayed on this brief budget collection. It includes a few of their most revered songs -- "Paper Doll," "You Always Hurt the One You Love," "Lazybones" -- in the versions that fans will recognize, but not much else; only ten tracks, compared to well over 20 on the best Ink Spots compilations out there, like Columbia's Essential Mills Brothers: Four Boys and a Guitar volume or the exhaustive The Mills Brothers: The Anthology (1931-1968) on MCA. ~ John Bush Jukebox Memories Songs | 1. | Paper Doll | $0.99 | |

$9.59 Knowing how to strike while the iron is hot, the international all-male pop-opera revue Il Divo, assembled by AMERICAN IDOL's Simon Cowell, followed up its 2005 debut (and subsequent Christmas album) with yet another outing in early 2006. Here the dashing vocal quartet--Urs Buhler (Switzerland), Sebastien Izambard (France), Carlos Marin (Spain), and David Miller (U.S.)--stays true to its multi-lingual repertoire, offering up a suitably dramatic Spanish version of Eric Carmen's "All By Myself" ("Solo Otra Vez") and an English/French rendition of "I Believe in You" (with Celine Dion), ...
