Following a three-year absence caused by the defection of three-quarters of their lineup (who went on to form Misery Index), Maryland grindcore institution Dying Fetus resumed their semi-legendary career with 2003's relentless Stop at Nothing. In an admirable display of effortless resurrection, sole original remaining member, vocalist John Ryan Gallagher didn't even blink when left to his own devices, but simply recruited new and able musical storm troopers to assist him in his ongoing quest to defy American musical trends. Stop at Nothing accomplishes just that, with standout tracks like "Institution of Deceit," "Forced Elimination," and "Vengeance Unleashed" harboring a vicious fury and pulverizing intensity rarely witnessed this side of the pond; and arguably on par with any of the European masters. The end result is vintage Dying Fetus: a sanity-obliterating onslaught lasting barely half-an-hour, but worth every penny spent per second. Even more remarkable, Dying Fetus are no longer just keeping grindcore's maggot-encrusted corpse alive, but introducing it to an entirely new generation of extreme metal fans too young to enjoy it all the first time around. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia

Nice sound, catchy beat and rather impressive guitar riffs. A good purchase but, nothng deserving of a "5 star" rating. So it get's a 4, for it's good but, just a bit short of excellent listening experience.

Si esperas algo brutal y con tecnica, este el el mejor disco de 2003.
Sin duda.
El sonido es excelente y la produccion igual, las letras en linea socio polita, mas apegada a la realidad y no tantos demonios y brujas.

 mmmm abuso del groove
esta banda sin duda presenta el sintoma dl slam death,el cual bandas como suffocation,devourment,prostitute desfigurement y esta banda sufren.
El slam death es death metal lleno de breakdowns y abuso de groove.Este no es el verdadero death metal.A pesar de todos el album tiene sus buenos momentos,los musicos poseen buenas tecnicas y la musica suele ser pegajosa.Nada sobresaliente,si eres fan d lamb of god esta es una buena banda para comenzar en el death metal supongo

Despite the nay-sayers, Dying fetus is back and packs quite a punch with Stop at Nothing. Gallaghers trademark growl is once again showcased as well as brilliant mid-range screams that sound almost exactly as jason netherton does. Great choices on replecements for the lost members. The ablum itself is great, great guitar, great vocals, its all good. Lyrically they are intelligent and well written, they do however lack the brutality and aggressive attitude that Netherton wrote with on songs like as "procreate the malformed" and such. This can be good or bad, depending on the fan. Myself, I love both. :)
if your a dying fetus fan chances are you will like this album. Give it more than one spin too, it had to grow on me.
