Alias Games Review Average Rating: (2 out of 5 stars) great game game very exciting and challenging
last sequence is very difficult but with several tries was able to unlock the door...the hardest parts of the game are the time limits and the locks but with much perserverence the game is very much fun Submitted by linda (l@excite.com) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
last sequence is difficult very difficult to complete the last sequence of the game...time limit to short and too difficult to minipulate the lock system on the final door... Submitted by p.house (houston, texas usa) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Dragged out, too difficult Dragged out unbelievably with every scene, extremely difficult where you don't care to even bother playing it anymore, and when you finally manage to finish one scene (after hours) it brings up anotherone with "get this thing and get chased by the guards... AGAIN".
And in the first screen you have to "sneak around guards" that see you 100% of the time and it takes a long time to take 7 of them in one room.
So this game's a waste of time/money. No wonder it's on RottenTomatoes' site... fitting! Submitted by Di (Chicago, IL) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

| | Tekken Tag Tournament PS2 Playstation 2 1-4 Players; Greatest Hits
Alias game
$11.19 Tekken Tag Tournament is a lightning fast port of the arcade game that boasts a 20-fighter plus cast of characters and one of the most famous control methods in gaming -- one button per limb. In addition, it has evolved from a conventional one-to-one competition into a tag battle with two characters for each team. Gamers can even choose to play against three friends using a multi-tap, participate in a traditional two-player tournament, or hone their fighting skills against the computer. Other features for TTT include enhanced visuals over the arcade version and additional game modes.
It should come as no surprise that Tekken Tag Tournament will hit the shelves on PS2's opening day. It first appeared as a tech demo way back when - and damn, did it look good. And while the game may not look as convincingly realistic as it did back then, it still manages to impress. Its release is imminent and that's a good thing for anyone who has been patient enough to wait for the US launch. For the most part, gameplay remains untouched with a few tweaks here and there. Although TTT plays just like its arcade cousin, it looks like a million dollars (almost what I paid for my Metal Gear Solid DVD - sigh). The difference is like night and day - a few thousand extra polys per fighter go a long long way. Jin Kazama is ripped; his highly defined back muscles are visible during battle, not just the intro. And wait 'til you get a load of Nina. It's not just the fighters that see new enhancements, backgrounds receive nearly as much master detail. Yoshi's winter forest set is stunning, with snowflakes falling in a seemingly random manner; the snow-covered ground has a convincing effect - it appears bumpy. Eddie's grassy field is also quite impressive, with cheering onlookers. Visual effect like hit animations light up the screen as brilliant as Disneyland's daily pyrotechnics show.
In Namco tradition, Tekken Tag Tournament is full of goodies to keep rabid (not avid) fans happy. Tekken Bowl, as crazy as is may sound, is a lot of fun. Just imagine the entire Tekken cast out hitting the local alley on Saturday night. Each fighter has his or her own skill set which makes for really interesting matches. It's like reliving League Bowling on the Neo Geo. Juke Box mode permits you to choose the tuneage, but only after scoring 200 in Tekken Bowl. With our luck maybe Namco will throw in another few bonus treats (We still haven't seen Pac-Man in Tekken) but, if not, TTT is still as sweet as a TT, Audi, that is.
