Ultra's second volume of Ultra Trance is another DJ set, mixed by the skilled David Waxman, that's designed to keep the curious up-to-date on current and popular trance productions. Selections from some very familiar names will be more than enough to draw in newcomers, including Oakenfold vs. DJ Judas' "The Prophet (Sabata Remix)," Paul Van Dyk's "Nothing but You (Vandit Radio Mix)," and Jason Nevins Presents Holly's "I'm in Heaven (Dub Mix)." As its name clearly indicates, Against All Authority is dedicated to rebellion (or at least what passes for it in the early days of the new millennium), and on 2006's THE RESTORATION OF CHAOS & ORDER, the Florida-based band plays sloganeering hardcore punk in the proud tradition of Anti-Flag and Strike Anywhere, setting its sights mainly on that target of targets George W. Bush. While the blistering title track and "Sweet Televised Destruction" decry government policies over hard-charging, guitar-heavy backing, "Radio Waves" skewers Top 40 pop radio, showing that Against All Authority's raspy-voiced rage can extend beyond topical political discourse. They say talent is inherited, and such is the case with the Stewart Family. Brothers Ritchie and Jason are the sons of Dick, lead guitarist of the legendary instrumental combo, The Knights. Born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Ritchie and Jason started playing music at a young age and spent some time in Austin, Texas in the early nineties where they pursued their craft. Ritchie went onto become a full-fledged member of the recently resurrected Knights, but continues working on other projects with his brother, where he handles lead vocals, rhythm guitar and bass. Rounded out by Jason on lead guitar, keyboards and back-up vocals, the dynamic duo has just released their debut album, "Back In The Moat," which addresses many different tones, moods and styles to incredible effects.
