Two friends begin a simple, uneventful drive to Florida to deliver a car. But the trip soon becomes a voyage to hell when they hit the backroads of a barren Texas county and meet up with a monstrous serial killer. Through all the gore, it's really a comedy.
Good Scare! If you are a diehard Texas Chainsaw fan like me, you love everyone of these no matter if they're stupid or not. I love the fact Viggo Mortenson was in this flick and was not really well known back then, it makes for watching him now cool. He's sure come a LONG way. As for the movie, it's you same old Texas Chainsaw plot but very well played out by all the actors and I think the director did a fine job! Good but a drop This is the third film in the series and the third best. This film was not a patch on the first 2, with the first a atmosheric and chilling horror classic and the second possiblely one of the most entertaining films of all time, this film had way too much to live upto. I'm not saying this was a bad film...it was actually quite good but there are some problems....the new family wasn't as good (not that I'm taking a dump on them), the plot was too similar to the first and it all seemed alittle unbalanced. However this was also an entertaining well paced film with a great proformance by Ken Forrie (also from original Dawn of the Dead).....maybe a drop but still a good sequel. $26.09 Tobe Hooper's TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE appeared like a nightmare in 1974, establishing a whole new genre of horror film. Thirty years later, the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE is back. Directed by well-known commercial and video director Marcus Nispel, and produced by Michael Bay (ARMAGEDDON, PEARL HARBOR), this remake begins in the same place as the original. Five friends are driving through Texas on their way to a concert in Dallas. But when they stop to pick up a hitchhiker, their trip takes a turn for the worse. The friends--Erin (Jessica Biel), Kemper (Eric Balfour), Morgan (Jonathan Tucker), Pepper (Erica Leerhsen), and Andy (Mike Vogel)--have no idea what they're in for when they ask the local sheriff (R. Lee Ermey) for help. It isn't long before the blood begins to pour and the notorious chainsaw of the maniacal, murderous Leatherface starts to roar.
Although considered relatively low budget (9.5 million) by 2003 moviemaking standards, Nispel's remake is worlds away from the no-budget feel of Hooper's original. Where that film left much of the actual gore off camera, Nispel and ...
$15.99 Peter Webber (GIRL WITH A PEARL EARRING) directs the latest installment about the monstrous cannibal Hannibal Lecter, revealing the facts of his childhood and the birth of his troubled mind. But the war quickly finds them, and Hannibal witnesses horrible atrocities against his family, particularly from a local independent force of brutes led by the creepy Grutas (Rhys Ifans). Years after the war, teenage Hannibal (Gaspard Ulliel) leaves Lithuania and travels to France, where his uncle's wife, Lady Murasaki (Gong Li), takes him in and befriends him. A gifted medical student, Hannibal studies corpses and anatomy with extreme diligence, but dreams of tracking down and destroying those who harmed him and his family. Soon, he is acting on his impulses, hunting down the perpetrators from his youth and inflicting cruel punishment.
Ulliel is chilling as the stone-faced Hannibal, clearly scarred by his tragic past and ever more determined to exact revenge. Li is luminous onscreen, ...
