Defcon 1: Lyrical Warfare was T-Rock's third album in five months. As you might be able to imagine, it's not that the MC had such a wealth of top-shelf tracks ready to be unleashed upon the world in rapid-fire succession. Instead, he had one good album, and he chose to split up the material from that one good album onto three separate albums, with plenty of nondescript fluff added to each of the discs to maximize his profit. Like Myth of Reality and Rock Solid/4:20 before it, Defcon 1 has a handful of memorable moments that maintain his status as an accomplished, if just above average, Southern MC. ~ Andy Kellman Defcon 1: Lyrical Warfare Music T-Rock Defcon 1: Lyrical Warfare Songs | 1. | Intro |

Great Work T-Rock and the Area 51 click proved that they can rap better than DJ Paul and Juicy J on this album with 3 six disses that prove it. So go cop dis along with the conspiracy theory,The Myth of Reality,The Mr Washington Story and DJ Cree's album known as (Platinumized PLayers.) T-Rock is the illest out there! If your a T-Rock fan your going to love this cd.....First off the beats on this album are off the chain.....His production is better than ever, and I think that his crew could put 3-6 to shame with beats. Second off the whole album is good, but it lacks a blazin song, and everything is aimed at DJ Paul it's like a diss album....His lyrics are still off the chain and T-Rock is showing that he can prevail....This album is a must need for any T-Rock fan!!!
Cop it soon......fa real Submitted by etniesnecko3 (Cincinnati) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
Pretty Nice! T-Rock is one of the gangsta rappers out as of right now! The beats are off the hook, and his Lyrics will blow your mind. Three 6 Mafia did fall off bad, and their beats do all sound the same! But T-Rock, and AREA 51, KEEP ON HOLDIN DOWN!! Submitted by xsperiment (CherryPoint, NC) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No
W.O.W. This is probably T-Rock's best solo effort to date! Production is only getting better I see.. and the remarks about three 6 mafia are true and hilarious! Dont get me wrong.. I have all of three 6's cd's but, you have to admit loosing 10 rappers in less than 3 years is kinda shady. La chat leaving was kinda the last straw for me. Da unbreakables wasnt even there best cd. Anyways back to T-Rock Lyrically you have to admit, he crushes the competition. Submitted by a reviewer (Temple Hills, MD) Was This Review Helpful? Yes No

Defcon 1: Lyrical Warfare
$11.49 Born in Accra, and raised in Wales, Ghana and India and the UK where she is now settled, Rhian grew up in a very musical environment. Her Welsh mother was an accomplished singer, and her father, an Ashanti naval officer, is a gifted guitarist. Rhian started playing piano at the age of nine and picked up guitar soon after and before long, a budding singer songwriter. Behind the warm and honeyed voice is a sharp mind, Rhian gained an economics degree at the London School of Economics and worked in banking in the City for a time, a somewhat stark contrast to her own desires for a life in music. Her studies continued at Harvard in America, until her mother fell ill and Rhian returned home to care for her ailing mother. With time to think she found healing and release in music and decided to chase her singing dreams, feeling as though it was a risk worth taking in order to dance her heart’s dreams into life. Numerous open mic nights and various club slots in London followed and she found her voice often compared to Sade and Lauryn Hill. One night after a show Rhian was offered a deal by an executive from Los Angeles based label, DKG, and relocated to America to write and record her debut album ‘Gold Coast’ a title which beautifully reflects her childhood home of Ghana.Under the Californian sun the gifted songstress, musician and writer co-produced the album with Grammy Award-winning producers Bob Power (Chaka Khan, A Tribe Called Quest) and James Poyser (Lauryn Hill, D’Angelo). The albums sound was a striking collection of moving songs, beautiful and passionate melodies and rich production, all fused together underneath Rhian’s velvety and captivating voice. In 2004, Gold Coast was released to phenomenal international support and great critical acclaim.Rhian’s self-penned debut single ‘Say How I Feel’ was a Top 10 R&B hit in the US and Top 30 in the UK national charts. The video for the single featuring the model Tyson Beckford and an iconic looking Rhian instantly became MTV Base’s #1 Most Played video.Rhian was invited by BET in the US to host her own TV show series aptly entitled ‘Gold Coast’- a first for a brand new British artist, it took her back to her home in Ghana and also saw her interview a wide range of celebrities from LL Cool J and Musiq Soulchild to Clint Eastwood! Rhian’s first US national tour followed in 2003 when she supported R&B legend Brian McKnight; she then headlined her own shows and performed alongside artists ranging from Angie Stone, Raphael Saadiq, Anthony Hamilton to Macy Gray and Angela Bofill. Rhian took great pleasure in joining British soul star Lemar ...
