Greatest Hits Live 2003
$10.49 Blackfoot was a southern-rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, lead by singer/guitarist Rick Medlocke. Between 1975 & 1985 they released numerous albums, three of which are now making their worldwide CD debuts on Wounded Bird Records. 'Highway Song - Live' was originally issued in 1982 as a German import only and has been an extremely hard to find collectors item ever since.

Personnel: Rick Medlocke (vocals, guitar); Greg T. Walker (vocals, bass guitar); Jakson "Thunderfoot" Spires (vocals, drums); Charlie Hargrett (guitar). Like their Native American ancestors before them, the members of Blackfoot must have known what it felt like to be exiled from their homeland. Only, rather than being ...

| | Slayer Live Undead CD (1985)
Greatest Hits Live 2003
$14.15 Personnel: Tom Araya (vocals); Jeff Hanneman, Kerry King (guitar); Dave Lombardo (drums). Audio Remasterer: Eddy Schreyer. Recorded and released as a follow-up to the Haunting the Chapel EP, specifically during the tour for that effort (though apparently actually in a studio with a few hypercharged fans in audible attendance), Live Undead shows the band still coming together in ways. Hell Awaits was around the corner and Reign in Blood further off yet, so the set relies on their earliest material, sometimes striking but formative nonetheless. But if nothing else Tom Araya's part snarling and part merry way around death, doom, and destruction was already nearly settled -- only one or two Rob Halford-level shrieks sneak through here and ...

| | Fu Manchu We Must Obey CD (2007)
Greatest Hits Live 2003
$14.05 Fu Manchu: Bob Balch (guitar); Brad Davis (bass guitar); Scott Hill, Scott Reeder. Personnel: Scott Hill (vocals, guitar); Bob Balch (guitar); Scott Reeder (drums). Audio Mixer: Andrew Alekel. Recording information: Grandmaster Recorders, Ltd (08/2006). Fu Manchu may be well on their way to becoming the AC/DC of stoner rock. On their eleventh full-length, 2007's WE MUST OBEY, and into their second decade, Scott Hill and Co. refuse to budge from the formula that made them favorites among the dilated pupils crowd from day one. The Orange County vehicular fetishists turn to producer Andrew Alekel--whose studio chops brought commercial success to Rancid, Weezer, and Queens of the Stone Age--on WE MUST OBEY, but long time fans need not fear a sell-out. Alekel understands the importance of the band's heavy recipe for groove and attack, making WE MUST OBEY among Fu Manchu's ...
